Dana Holgorsen

Can we get Dan Moore some additional eligibility under the 9 season Ronnie Hamlin rule? He'd be dynamite in this offense.

Liberty is only giving up about UM's average on the ground. But, I have Nguyen nightmares from my 2012 trip to WaGriz. I do think the run D will be solid, and LU should get a good line rush. The pass D is very young but very athletic. I'm hoping for some turnovers because I do think the Griz will be able to move the ball in the air. LU needs the secondary to step up to win. I actually think playing a similar offense last week plays more to LU's advantage.

I think that since MU is giving up a lot of yards on the ground, the Flames may try to shorten the game by running to keep the ball out of the Griz offense. They ran a similar game plan vs JMU last year.

We shall see.

If Logwood can get healthy he could help us if the O-Line gives him a slight hole he will make things happen. I keep thinking each game he will step up. Fans could get a nice surprise when he gets in and gets the ball.
I do think the O-Line will give our backs some room and our ground game will get us some yards. Stitt knows they will focus on the pass. It will be interesting how he calls this game.

Not sure if it's how Stitt calls the game as much as how the QB reads the defense and reacts.

Griz have given up a lot on the ground but there are some caveats to that. NDSU has been an elite pro-style running team for years and though they may be slightly down this year, they still have a senior laded OL full of NFL potential.

Cal-poly is a triple option team that averaged more ypg last year than the Griz allowed if I'm not mistaken. I wouldn't be surprised if those two games are the highest rushing totals the Griz allow all year.

Seriously. I think I remember him when I was in school at UM, and I'm already getting "those" kind of doctor checkups.

Well, unlike last year, I doubt we will try to run if the run game isn't there. With this offense you can pass all day long or you can run all day long, depending on what they show on defense.

Wrong, butt breath. No offense can thrive without a running game. You have swilled the Kool-Aid too long. Balance is imperative for any offense. Without the threat of the run, teams can settle into a zone and take away many of our throwing options. But the, what would a pedestrian fan like yourself know?

Hanging curve, there, one who self medicates in that department...

4.7 ypc by my calculations. Not stellar, but not terrible like the doom and gloomers would have you believe.
Can you count on him to get a yard when you need it on 4th down or in the red zone? He is a specialist back, a role back, a pretty good one, but not an all-purpose RB like most good teams have. We are averaging 108 (3.5 yards/attempt) on the ground. 44% in the red zone. There will be more L's if this continues.
