Anybody know where to find the video of the 87 yard catch-run?

What a great highlight. I noticed at the bottom of the screen of the highlight that the TV production booth initially gave the points from Dan's TD to ASU on the scoreboard graphic, something I didn't notice during the game broadcast. Dirty rats...

If not mistaken, it was most probably due to: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposition_48_(NCAA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) that Dan Moore had to sit out the 2008 season without practicing or playing. Then being listed as a sophomore in 2010, etc., etc., etc., but 'playing eligibility of four years total' starting in 2009 through to the present.

Dan was actually a casualty of the NCAA rule change that went into affect around that time regarding additional core high school requirements (changed from 14 credits in high school to 16). He didn't have enough core credits so the NCAA ruled him ineligible. Coach Delaney commented about the situation during last week's radio show. Dan did have to sit out that first year, pay his own way, and not practice with the team.

We had another player around the same time that had the same issue. It was Kyle Finneman, the punter recruit from Havre. When Kyle was ruled ineligible he chose to play NAIA rather than pay his way and wait for a year. If memory serves correct, Kyle was a state sprint champion. That would have been an interesting athlete to play punter.

If I could pick just one player off your team and put him on the Bison squad it would be hands down Dan Moore! Ever since I saw him in that UNI playoff game last year, I have been impressed with him. He runs ANGRY and he would look good in the green and gold! Good Luck the rest of the way.....maybe we'll see ya some time this year......hopefully in the Fargo Dome. :thumb:

Dan Moore reminds me of Mike alstot. Anybody else see that?
How about... Mini Alstott. I just looked at Alstott's site page and he was a big dude at 6-1, 248... but then I was shocked to read his stats. NOT impressive. Only one season over 4.0 yards a carry and a few under 3.0 yards a carry, and he never even averaged 60 yards a game in any season. That surprised me, especially after all the ink the kid got ten years ago. I thought he had a couple of years where he was Csonka-like... unstoppable.
