Quit being so "thin skinned". I gave it up on my last post that D did what they could against NDSU. You have been touting them for three years.....I didn't make up any national stats. Nope, you are wrong. NDSU controlled the game, and kicked our butts overall, but the UM defense performed well, especially under the circumstances.

The Bison scored only 16 points against the D, the lowest scoring output of the season by the Bison O. Only 316 yards of Total Offense. 1 for 14 on 3d conversions.

The Bison averaged 4.5 per carry, below their season average of 5.2 carry. Outside of the 49 yard run by the QB, the Bison averaged only 3.65 per carry. In the first game against UM, the Bison averaged 5.1 per carry. The Bison gained 250 on the ground, only 5.5 over their average, but it took 56 rushes to get there (and 56 is way over their average amount of rushes per game).

The UM D doesn't suck, and didn't suck on Saturday--and you have no stats to back up your view that the UM D sucked on Saturday. I'm sure that even your buddies Growler or CV would say that the D sucked on Saturday.

The only analysis or stats that really matter are 37-6 and a lot of that had to do with the TOP.

NDSU had more than 40 minutes of TOP and that includes their D scoring 2 td's and their special teams another, if that doesn't happen the figure is probably skewed even more.

The griz D was decent this year, but they were somewhat dominated on Saturday...

Considering that 21 points came directly off of two pick sixes and a kick return touchdown, and working with a constant short field, I'd say the defense did well. They held NDSU to their lowest yardage total of the season, and held them to 1-11 on third down. I mean, did you even watch the game or look at a box score?

Small point. 1-14 on 3d down. 316 yards of total offense. Lowest point total of season scored by the NDSU offense. UM defense was on the field for 40.5 minutes.

He obviously didn't watch the game, or look at the stats, the basics of which have been posted on egriz about 50 times already.

How did EWU's defense do last weekend?

CV is a babbling idiot. You gear up to win Your Conference not the MVC. Or you don't make the playoffs. That's what makes the FCS special. Different conferences with different styles get to battle it out in post season. But we have got to defend the PSU/EWU/ISU/MSU/Weber/SUU offenses first and foremost. Hence, we have had a decade long string of NFL caliber DEs, corners and safety's. Yep. The Griz defense has just sucked for years come think of it.
