Cuts Happening?

QB Willy Pflug, WR Chase Naccarato, WR Josh Janssen, OL Cameron Rokich, QB Will Weyer and CB Chris Parker have been cut by the Montana Griz.

Feel sorry for the players. But nothing earth-shattering here.

The Griz saw what it takes to be a 4-time defending champion recently, we need to get better athletes.

Everyone on the board was high on Pflug, I'm surprised by that cut.

I thought it was HIGHLY comical when posters thought he would start this year as a true freshman, or at the very least as a RS-FR. :shock:

Stitt better have a plan. I'm not a fan of cutting players that have been with the system for awhile and have worked hard.

He told the team that the roster would have a new look come spring in yesterdays team meeting. What really should be talked about is the overwhelming amount of dislike the players have for this guy. The complete opposite of a players coach he treats his guys like crap.

Very well could be true, but we heard the same thing with Hauck, Glenn, etc. New guys come in, the players are used to the old guys, some like the new guy, some don't. It seems like a natural part of the process.

How would you handle differently? I think it's fair to cut as quickly as possible so the kids have time to figure out there next step.

True. I have no idea how it was handled, which is another reason for me to reserve judgment.

What does this do to the APR? I'm assuming because they were cut and did not quit there is no negative effect but not positive.

I don't think the athletic department has said anything about this, which is as it should be. No shool publishes roster cuts. Social media isn't handling this well at all.
