Parker's Tweet above.

Stitt better have a plan. I'm not a fan of cutting players that have been with the system for awhile and have worked hard.

He told the team that the roster would have a new look come spring in yesterdays team meeting. What really should be talked about is the overwhelming amount of dislike the players have for this guy. The complete opposite of a players coach he treats his guys like crap.

I'm calling BS on this one.

I have about 1000% more knowledge on this than you :thumb:
Oh goodie, another insider. Just what this board needed.

I know this. Bob Stitt knows more about this than I do. I feel really bad for kids who get cut and hope they land on their feet somewhere (perhaps not in the BSC tho...). I am going to assume Stitt has his eye on some very good talent (drop downs maybe?) that has become available and is cutting schollies to the bone to get the players that he wants. Building the dominant team we all want to see will take some cuts and sacrifices. He has the measure of a year of FCS ball now and presumably has a better idea of what it will take to go further.

Griz CB Parker was let go not because of ability but because apparently it wasn't a good fit chemistry wise #GrizFB

If you are not seeing a tweet by the kid himself, or a post from the UM, I would seriously doubt most of the information thrown around on here.

Nor would I be chiming in with negative comments on any of the guys playing for U of M.

The trolling is getting unwarranted traction on here.

Skyline Sports is a very good reliable source, so the information is definitely true.

Not so much this time. From Skyline Tweet..."Per @ShaunRainey Montana QB Willie Pflug, CB Chris Parker have been released. Received a text from UM position coach saying other info wrong."

That's understandable. Interesting that some on here know players that are high on Stitt and respect him and others claim they know players who think he is a jerk. Always a tough job to get that many kids and staff that have to spend that much time together in a very competitive environment to not only get along and work together but to sacrifice unselfishly for the better of the team as a whole.

Stitt could take a page out of Ash's book "playing 0.500 ball", under the "commitment" chapter... ;)

Yea darn. Hate to see kids with dreams not get what they want. But at same time I can appreciate Stitt and the gang trying to upgrade wherever they can. Tough one.

Is Parker the one who came up and caught that line drive punt from the Cats saving like 40 yards of field position. That was a gutsy, risky play on the ball.....but I loved it. Kid seemed to have some skills.

Good memory, HookedonGriz. I also recall Parker had a pretty hard hit (tackle) in that game on ST as well.

Good luck, Chris! And thank you. (And that goes to any and all players that suffer from cuts)

I'm sure some players don't like the coach and I am sure some do. Honest question, didn't many of the players hate Hauck?

This is tough, but I honestly don't think Stitt just woke up and said gee I feel like cutting players today. Many of the same posters concerned about the players also have discussed our lack of talent at certain areas. Also, with the ten thousand wide receivers we have, it was a fairly safe bet they weren't all going to be back on the roster as WRs this spring.

Wrong book. It's the book of Stitt. Chapter on commitment to winning. You should get Jeb Coat a copy as a house-warming gift.

Willy Pflug also got cut yesterday

hmmmm a first time poster....not a lot of credit to those

Dont have any hard proof I can post on here but you will see soon enough. They are making a crazy amount of cuts and creating a "new roster" Jackson Thiebes also cut. Josh Janssen also done

Was wondering about Janssen when he didn't play this year (and Stitt bringing in all these receivers), and Thiebes wasn't a FCS level OL. So no suprises here.
