I am watching the basketball game now. 1st half almost over, ISU is hanging with CU, but ISU is different from most years. Their defense and rebounding needs a lot of work. They are giving up a lot of open looks, and not much strength for rebounding and interior defense. Offensively, they are shooting more, and much more of a green light so far. Gilchrist is a stud this year, and will be tough. He will be a handful this year for everyone.

Selvig, Qvale, Ward, etc will have their way with them in the paint. ISU better hope they improve a lot in the paint before they play us. I think that is part of the reason why they are giving up so many open looks, they are over committing to helping defend the paint with their perimeter guys.

45-38, CU at the half. Gilchrist with 20 1st half points. By the way, ISU is not even attempting to establish an inside game offensively.

39 points for Gilchrest. CU 88- ISU 80. Not much defense on either side. Boyle absolutely WILL have the Buffs near the top within the next few years.
