CU Departures

1st if the players in 2022 were so good why did coaches get fired.

2nd Sanders talked about being part of the Colorado Genesis. ( A biblical reference knowing what follows…the Exodus)

3rd Coach Sanders is separating the Dawgs from the Cats

4th Coach Sanders has commented on everyone is seeing the exiting players and have not seen the ones he has coming in.

A unique story and a unique person(Deon) it will be interesting. Known as a flashy player, but old school coach.

He cares and also has a job to do. The classic examples was when he asked RB room who can he count on on 4th down and it was crickets from the players. No Dawgs in the room. Deon isn’t worried about the portal it is speeding up his job in clearing house.

It seems like a lot of people really want to see Deion fail for whatever reason. Maybe they have reasons that I don't. I hope CU succeeds. Makes the PAC better, plus I've always wanted to go to a game there because I think Folsom Field looks awesome. I've always liked the stadiums with big, nice-looking building in one of the endzones. OK State is another. Anyway, I hope we're on a few of these departing guys just in case.

So I'm assuming you've been to Dyke over at USDSU.

Nice endzone building there. As for Coach Prime, he gets everything that's coming to him. It's too bad everything is looking more like Barnum (not that one) and Bailey are in charge.

Sir, I wrote "nice-looking building".

I like Sanders more as he ages. Funny, smart guy with great wisdom he shares.

As with you CDA, he can lay a word land-mine or two. His kids are attending school and he is coaching, not a bad set up. He was brutally truthful and it traumatized several players….hello, what a refreshing change from participation rewards for players who have done nothing and a clear message that there is a new philosophy.

I was searching for the hour long interview/sales job I saw on TV the other night, and I discovered he had blood clot problems in his left calf. Compartment Syndrome developed. Cost him his great toe and a lesser toe. Probably going to hamper his endzone dancing a bit. You'd think that might tone down his ego/attitude. You'd be wrong.

My apologies. I errantly assumed floor-to-ceiling curtains would cinch the deal.

No worries. I appreciate a Delta Sky Lounge when it’s the only option, but it’s still a Delta Sky Lounge.

The CU portal players would seem to give UM some opportunity. Probably too many of them to get absorbed in FBS at this point. Some with little playing history or recent injuries. I assume most of them are talented, and would be good at the FCS level. I wonder if UM is looking for scholarships.

While I’d like to see him succeed, do y’all really think all those Jackson State players that are coming to Colorado wouldn’t have gone FBS if they had the chance earlier? You think they all agreed to “play down” at Jackson State because of Deion, and now are following him up to where they should have been all along?

Or is Deion that good of a coach that he can make P5 players out of half the Jackson State roster?

Yeah, I'm not sure. I do know about this guy who was pretty coveted coming out of HS. IDK how many more like him Deion brought from Jackson State. https://247sports.com/Recruitment/Travis-Hunter-130361/RecruitInterests/

Jackson attracted FBS players to Jackson St. This one was the no. recruit in the nation. "Deion Sanders, Jackson State Land Nation’s No. 1 Football Recruit Travis Hunter".

He isn't making FCS players into FBS players. These top guys came to Jackson St. because of Sanders and what he told them. I assume he's only bringing the top guys. I know he's brought 7, but I thought I'd read he has 8. I see that CU got a 5 star recruit db from high school.

And yet all those FBS guys couldn’t beat NC Central.

OT loss to 10-2 team. It’s take about 25 players to make a football team. Not 8.
