They definitely seemed a bit off.....a bit un-NDSU like. Costly mistakes, missed opportunities, and IMO a weak secondary that will be exploited soon. But a win is a win and good teams find a way to win. That team will not win the title. If they get a lot better, like they seem to do each year, tjey will be in the thick of it again.

This first game (NDSU's second consecutive appearance on ESPN) says little about the Bizon winning a 6th consecutive NC, just as their defeat by UM last season was no indication. NDSU & CSU will probably play again in the playoffs, and that will be a game to watch!

Remember last year when NDSU's defense look attrocious, their secondary was exposed and they got beat by Montana? I heard the same shit last year. How did the season turn out for NDSU?

They just played the #6 team in the country and semi finalist team from last year. CS is a good team and their defense gave NDSU issues. NDSU also played horrible with the costly penalties that just killed drives. At the end of the day they still won the game. You guys would be giddy beating the #6 ranked team and bragging about how good your defense is going to be.

Championships aren't won in August. It's a long season.

Dislocated shoulder is what I was told. They popped it back in and he wanted to go back out there but coaches said no. Unless he tore something, he should be fine.

Punter is my biggest concern as an NDSU fan. That is not an issue that can be fixed this year and is going to cost them football games.

Seriously. 2011UNDAlum thinks it's funny that Griz fans watched an FCS game on ESPN and commented on it. I think the T-Buff coaches and players have adjusted to FCS rather well, but the fans aren't quite there yet. Uneducated.

Eastern's QB, any one of the three, will play better than UCSU's did yesterday, and with Kupp & company, there shouldn't be a problem when they have the ball even with the UNDSU D. Their problem will be getting the ball back after a score. This is EWU on defense you're talking about.
