Crucial Game: WSU at SUU

SUU’s overrated. Both of their conference losses at home Have come by double digits. Weber looks like the clear cut favorite.

However, just to keep record straight, they lost (at home) to NoColo by exactly 10 points, but "only" by 8 tonight. So they have not lost their home conference games by double digits. I see on their schedule they have four games that were postponed (including one at the Griz). Be interesting to see how that plays out.
My bad. I turned it off in the final minute when they were still down by 10. Didn't bother to check the final score.

Weber won by 8. However, anywhere else on earth, any other 3 refs on earth, and that game is a 25 point blowout. I'm so glad that SUU is leaving the BSC and I hope that Weber never plays in that crap hole again. We should have never endorsed their entry into the BSC. I hope that you guys kick their butts as well. It's the second worse place to visit west of the Mississippi. Grand Forks is slightly ahead for the lead in that category.

That is an interesting take. Is just seems opposite of most complaints in this situation which seem to suggest that the departing team gets the unfair whistle. Not questioning you, just interesting.
Griz lost two very close, very poorly officiated games in Cedar just last year days apart. One of which the Griz lost solely because the refs called a foul on a putback attempt 20 feet from the rim with no time left. Granted my theory of BSC refs calling games against teams leaving the BSC is somewhat of a conspiracy theory, but I am not sure it would apply in the case you are referencing.

Griz were 2-2 counting Ewoo, the others had only played 1 or 2 intertop games cause postponements. Actually NoCo was 3 and 1 with 2 road W's vs the top group. To me that puts them in the driver's seat at this point. Hold serve vs the dregs and see who can pull off a road win or 2 vs the cream. I'm going to guess 16 should win it, if it's 15 I bet there is a tie. Should know a lot more as makeup games are thrown into the mix.

NoCo still has road games against Weber and the Montana road trip.
Still a lot games to be played, but I would give the edge to Weber.

Weber State beats EWU by 6, 90-84. Portland State beats Northern Colorado 79-76.

The crowds have been slow to come back after the whole COVID thing. Seems to be getting a little better as we go on. Same thing happened with football. It's not so much about the unfair whistle, It's more about the crazy azz things that go on when you get refs who were the last resort because no ref worth his salt wants to do a game in that crap hole city. Before they entered the BSC you would get, as refs, a couple of local cops and the town undertaker.
