GrizRick said:I always thought of U Wyoming as the place where FCS coaches to go to die. Joe Glenn comes to mind. It has to be a tough place to recruit. But having read a bit about Craig Bohl's tenure there, I have to give him credit. He has done a lot for that program. Maybe not in the way football coaching success is usually measured: Wyoming was never high in the FBS polls--if ever during his tenure they were in the polls--but he has turned a losing program into a winning one. Reminds me of the old saying, "How are you going to keep the kid on the farm once he's seen the bright lights of the city?" Craig Bohls stayed on the farm. I have no idea whether he had other opportunities but I would guess with the success he had turning NDSU into a dominant team and then boosting UW, he must have. Sort of the Robin Selvig story.

As I understand it, he was their sixth choice.

I only remember ONE coach who left Wyoming and moved UP. Joe Tiller became Purdue's HC.
