That's funny. After he "quits" ESpN for being a racist, Fox is more then happy to hire him.
What did he say that was racist?
Defensive much? Sorry, he generalized all Dominicans as dumb. Is it a fact that they all are dumb? If so, I will apologize to him for mislabeling him as something he is not.
calling someone dumb is not racist

Implying that they're intellectually inferior?

OK, prove him wrong. 8-)

Yeah... that's not how it works. If someone makes a statement about the entire population of a country they'd better have actual proof to back it up (which he doesn't of course). You can't say, "Well, this is a fact!" then make other people disprove your statement .

For example: Statler & Waldorf is actually a reptile who feeds on young children & just disguises himself as a person.

What...you don't think it's true? Prove me wrong! 8-)

Ahhhrrrg. I tried.
I can't do it. I guess he is a reptile.

From" Barack Obama's Rules for Revolution- -The Alinsky Model" (2009) by David Horowitz, page 22: "Conservatives think of war as a metaphor when applied to politics. For radicals, the war is real. That is why when partisans of the left go into battle, they set out to destroy their opponents by stigmatizing them as" racists," "sexists," "homophobes," and" Islamophobes." It is also why they so often pretend to be what they are not("liberals"for example) and rarely say what they mean. Deception for them is a military tactic in a war that is designed' to eliminate the enemy."

Keep your reptile propaganda to yourself! :P :P :P

calling someone dumb is not racist

But calling any specific group of people is, or as someone pointed out earlier is more accurately bigoted.

I read the transcript of what he said. He said the Dominican Republic has not been known for its a academic success. Deny that. Also, that baseball is not a intellectually depending game, but one of physical attributes. Don't have to be a Rhodes Scholar to play MLB? May be the reason the Ivy League, Notre Dame, and Stanford aren't overrun with DR students. No racism, no bigotry. Seems the player who tweeted Cowherd has a english comprehension problem, not unlike some pósters on this site.

It's not racist to make fun of the fats. It's just fatist.

And hilarious. I still think they should be followed around by people playing tubas.

I wish I had a nickel for every time I heard the Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo called "The Dartmouth of the Caribbean"....

They have a different saying down there..."Obviously you've never understood the game".

What he said was not racist or bigotry. He said an opinion. The worst thing you could say about his opinion was he was rude or wrong. This had nothing to do with skin color. Hell, even Al Sharpton doesn't think this was racist. Ands that's a guy that makes up racism.

Bullsh!t, one comment takes precedent over a lifetime of work. He apologized for his poor word choice and tried to explain he was looking at the poor education system they give citizens. Nope, your life's work isn't worth enough to overcome less than a minute. Just another validation of how full of sh!t we are.

Exactly my point. If I supposedly had his "playbook," why the f*** would I have to google him to find out who the f*** he is?
Could be denial.

May explain why in their mind ISIS is not a terrorist organization, since they follow the program. The real bad guy in the world is the conservative.

I've also occasionally heard, "It's obvious you never played the game."

Hello, and welcome to the Hyperbole Thread!

Regardless of whether Cowherd said something "racist," he said something stupid. Professional broadcasters get paid to not say stupid things and embarrass their networks, so he got shit-canned.

I don't know much about racism, reptiles, playbooks about guy's no one has ever heard of, or effeminate slaps from grown men.

But I do know it will be nice to turn on ESPN once in awhile and not hear the cowhearder.

He probably avoids some problems if he says "world class FACILITIES" instead of "abilities". His problem really comes from specifically naming Dominicans, in a way that says ; if Dominicans can understand baseball anybody can because look at their intellectual abilities. And not because it's a PC thing, it's because it's not factually accurate.

I know that in North America today we are not allowed to question someone's OPINION but you also don't get to state your opinion like it's a FACT.

Really!? So by this argument, are you saying that when someone states a racist or bigoted comment, it's fact and not opinion? Not the best argument there. Probably should've re-read this before you hit submit.
