A team with a big week coming up is Western Kentucky. The Hilltoppers have already beaten Georgia and UAB, and have important games ahead against Southern Illinois and Tennessee. Western Kentucky is young in spots, but has one of the better players in the nation in Courtney Lee, an outstanding athlete and defender. Lee averages 19 points, shoots 55 percent from the field, and really drills his free throws. He handed 25 points and 12 rebounds to Montana on the road, and gave 24 points to Georgia and WKU's old coach Dennis Felton. Southern Illinois will guard Western Kentucky better than anyone the Hilltoppers have faced save Florida, but the Salukis do not score it with ease. Tennessee will try to up the tempo versus Western Kentucky, so being strong with the ball and taking care of it will be important. Western Kentucky is in much the same boat as Winthrop, and the Hilltoppers need all of the résumé builders they can get to try to snag an at-large spot should they fall in the Sun Belt Tournament
