Any predictions on what to expect from him? Besides some g line packages (counter to logic) I actually would like to see him used in space to put a hurting on there cb's.

Bench space all this game, and one third of the next game.....

His size is deceiving. He runs pretty weak, would be better served in the frontier conference.

I would guess about 900 miles from the bench this weekend.

I don't know if I'd completely agree with that. I'll always remember the game winning TD run last year against NDSU. He has trucked some guys on other runs from what I remember.

I will agree that he is dang bulky, which doesn't always translate to explosive running power. Makes you wonder if some of his injury issues are due to him carrying that much bulk for his frame? Dan Moore seemed to have some of the same issues.

Unrelated, but I think we missed big on Nolan Saraceni. Watched him play last weekend. He might be the best college RB in the state.

When healthy, Counts is a stud. Period. He doesn't go backwards ever and is never tackled for a loss. I saw him play at UND when he was a sophomore and he was super impressive. His only issue is staying healthy and staying out of trouble. IMO he helps the run game quite a bit. I think he averages like 5 ypc if I'm not mistaken.

Tech might have the best MT Rb and Qb in the state...

Counts vs UND in 2013 7-26 and 1-51 (TD)

That was a really fun game to watch because UND had come out loaded up to stop our run game and JJ went deep on them right from the get go. Early to Travon, Henderson caught a hat trick, Counts had that long one off a wheel route and Cam Warren got one as well.

You may be right. I'm pretty convinced if McQueary stayed at MSU, he'd be the starter.
