Time for a new topic:

What is the coolest sports memorabilia you have owned or saw?

Coolest I ever saw was from a bodyguard in Vegas. He used to work for Walter Payton and his family. Walter's family gave him a replica of his superbowl ring, and one of his original MVP rings. He was "guarding" Rodman at the time. Said it was a pretty interesting job.

Coolest thing I owned was a baseball that I got Dave McNally, Boog Powell and Bobby Grisch to sign in the early 70's at Cominski Park in Chicago. I promptly brought it home and played with it until you couldn't read it. Did the same thing with my Dad's Richie Ashburn ball. Got my butt kicked for that one. :)

I have a signed football by:
Walter Payton, Tony Dorsett, Johnny Unitas, Mike Ditka and Roger Staubauck... all on one ball.

Its sitting under a plexi glass display case.

When we lived in Billings, they were all invited as 'guests' to a banquet for a large fund raiser, put on by a very wealthy local.. Fred Urbaska. The Urbaskas were my parents neighbors.. so we got invited.. I got a ball.. yada yada...

I like it ALOT..

I remember that fund raiser, and how much I wished I was able to attend.

I don't have any pro league stuff, but I have a football signed by all of the 2000 griz player's (the year they lost to georgia southern) and a national championshop football signed by Joe Glenn and John Edwards (the year they beat furman). I have a hat signed by Dave Dickenson and Yo Manzaneraz after the 1995 championship.

I have a baseball signed by ozzie smith, a little league hat signed by dave dikenson and a ospery foam hand and a keci sponsered baseball card signed by lyle overbay
nothing to exciting but fun

It's not my piece, but my son's. He pulled a Reggie Bush autographed and numbered (79/199) rookie card from 2006 Topps DPP Football cards.

I have a couple of Paul Pierce jersey cards (one is an All-Star Game piece), Dwight Howard jersey card, Jimmy Rollins bat card, and a Dave Concepcion bat card. (these cards contain thin swatches of said game-used material, for any that might wonder)

I have a signed ball and picture by Don Larson. A signed napkin by Jan Stenerud and a rookie league ball signed by Omar Vizquel and Kevin Seitzer. Oh, I have one of Jose Canseco's broken bats when he was playing for Idaho Falls.
