I get the impression from these rare articles in national media that the Lady Griz would have to win the national title before sportswriters acknowledged their success.

And even then, they'd include something about horses, log-cabins or some bullshit in their articles. Good grief guys; there's a large portion of this country located outside of New England believe it or not!

I will take any positive press the UofM program gets. We'll get more when Morales is getting notice as a potential all american canidate. She will get some notice when that time comes around.

In all fairness, Michelle Voepel knows more about womens basketball than just about anyone. In fact I would say that she might be the best womens basketball reporter in the U.S.

She is the beat writer for Kansas States womens program and had the guts to out the problems the K-States women program has had.

Now on the other hand, Nancy Lieberman Cline is a homer.

Mandy was honorable mention kodak all-american last year. One of only 3 freshman to earn that honor. I predict she will garner more attention this year.

But, the Lady Griz aren't all about 1 player anymore.
