I'm inspired to contribute to the players. What a ride they just took us on! And I concur, frisco was a ton of fun. 10/10 fan experience.

You know, a schollie should mean a 4 yr commitment between both a coach, and a player. I can understand, to a point, helping players that give their all and haven't been allowed to make extra money, during college. As an Alum, this is flat out filthy.
I love the school I WENT to. We are so far on the opposite side of the spectrum. You know what, if this is seriously where we are at, ill take 1-10, with a victory over the kittens any year.
It took me 20 yrs of grinding, in my profession, just so i had an extra grand, to be able to throw it away, with my UM college degree mind you. Not only that but brain washing my children that this school and the players were the greatest.
Now, 12th hour, someone holds my alma matter hostage and says pay me 500k or I walk? Let the fucking door hit em in the ass.
There is an old saying in finance and that is first loss is least loss.
If this is seriously where we are at, i dont need to buy griz shit. I dont need to renew my tickets and i easily walk away, with this kind of attitude. The University just asked for donations to pony up and send the band, to the title game. F u c k this.

Give me a f u c k i n g guarantee that my money is returned anything short of a national title and i will gladly pony up
IF any or all of this is true, it would make his valuation incredibly exceeded in perceived value. Kinda like a realtor trying to selling me a 1 bd 500 sq foot house in a less than desired neighborhood. There is a major fleece going on tonight from one side, or the other. Either way, its pretty F' ing gross!
Im so sorry. Im not trying to be less of a person or even a human but this is pretty bad, if all i am reading is true. My opinion of the University, and its pride has hit an unbelievable low and that includes my passion as a fan, since 1993.

I’ll chip in my $1000 next week. It can be given to those who are loyal to the team. I love having Bergen (and Gilman, Wilson, Gradney etc.) on the team, but this last second “I need X amount or I’m leaving” isn’t what I’ll contribute to.

I agree, but I don't think anyone actually knows that's what's happening. It's simply the end of the portal window. Donate when you're able and comfortable with it .

I actually posted a donation NIL thread the week of the NC. Idk why they decided to post it like this,.like it's a red alert emergency. Most people can't afford to donate and have a hard time making ends meet, but if you can help donate and help support some of these student athletes then that would be amazing. But if you can't donate then don't worry. Most of you being fans and supporting this team is what is the most important thing. I know helping donate will help some kids on the team with a little extra spending money who don't come from wealthy homes. And I'm sure most of the kids will be happy to get anything.

Question, if you donate X amount of $ for a specific player does that go straight to that player immediately? I ask because if you donate 1k to Good Old Grizzlies to a specific player and he decides to bail to tomorrow to a different school, will he get that money regardless if he transfers or will Good Old Grizzlies pool that money? This whole thing just seems odd to me that if this is one specific player is driving this whole thing and at the last second, generates and takes a sh!t ton of cash and leaves regardless is going to piss a lot of people off. This feels like I’m borderline gambling with my money. Now, I would feel more comfortable donating $$ if this student athlete left and I knew my cash would instead go into a pool to support a different player/high stakes transfer. The weeds of NIL is deep.
