Consider donating to the NIL tonight, it's important

I hope he also considers playing another year with his teammates, playing in WAGriz next fall, going down in history, being on the MT Rushmore of UM football, living the rest of his life knowing he gave it his all at UM and to be a person that Montanans will always admire for the decision. Those things are ones you can't buy....

I really would like the secretive garbage to come to an end. What is the precise number needed - or worse, requested, and Whom, PRECISELY, demanded the number and Why? Is there a family emergency, is someone's house in need of repair, did a vehicle break down or crash.....? Stop being coy and put out the information. I'm a heck of lot more willing to donate when I KNOW the answers to those questions. Money doesn't grow on trees, and I certainly don't give it away because the winds of whimsy start blowing out of the heads and ears of young men/women. Thanks in advance.

It’s Bergen. That’s pretty obvious. I have no inside information, I just follow the twitter information stream. Whether there are any others I’m not sure. But Bergen is 100% making his choice as we speak, and it sounds like this is a last ditch effort to keep him.

Love the guy and certainly loved his play during the run to Frisco but its a team sport and buying individual players seems, well a bit like paying ransom? Respect his decision one way or another but this guarantees nothing...

Bergen, $500,000, or he splits, copy. I find it interesting that he says this is where his heart is and he loves playing here less than 96 hours ago and now he's bailing if folks don't cough up $500,000. IF THAT'S the CASE, Wow! Obviously these kiddos don't have to provide for a family and pay all the bills associated with a house, car, kids, and basically life. I think of Chase Reynolds, who had 2 kids, a wife and worked in construction during the Summer and didn't once consider leaving if he wasn't paid. I find this behavior and current environment of College football very sad and uninspiring... That's just me tho. Well, hope he finds what he's after, unlike the Gov't most of us can't print money in our basements. Best of luck to ya.

That's not what I'm saying at all. Not one bit. I pointed out the math to accumulate a war chest for this NIL Era in an easy, grass roots effort standpoint.

Exactly. I wonder how many borderline portal guys you could get by spreading the cash around. Just ask Forbes how much he wishes he could suit it up one more year wearing Montana on his chest.....also why I love Sammy and could care less about Toure .

Yep, our coaches know what they’re doing, I just hope they buy the right players. It’s a f**ing meat market, but we put lipstick on the pig when guys bail for big money with nice buzz phrases like “go be great” and the like…I find it all nauseating.

Going off what I’m told it’s nothing like this at all or any number remotely close to that. Could be wrong but the rumor mill on the numbers has really gone off the rails.

...And just so I'm clear, I DO plan on donating, I just can't swing it until next month. I'm also planning on getting into QB Club, but that has to wait until this Summer, no OT during the winter months.

It’s the opposite for me. I’m in oil, and when it gets cold there’s plenty of overtime to be had. I picked up some OT this weekend! Gonna freeze my balls off now so I can vacation in Maui come April!

Can you give us an idea of value that you heard? Any idea if the collective is near it?

Same. The math was to point out simplicity in Law of numbers.

Copy, understood. I will be helping out, but it'll be next month, no choice in the matter. Love this Team and happy to contribute.

Bobby said at the meeting that NIL donations would receive QB Club credit. I don't know what that meant exactly. How does one donate to NIL with the stipulation that it be credited for QB Club? Just say that? He didn't say the credit to QB Club would be credited towards QB Club dues, but that must have been what he meant.

I don't believe this for a second. Where is this BS coming from?

Not that it matters much, but my situation and 2 cents worth.
I don’t know if it’s Junior or not but,
I gave $250.00 to NLI a couple weeks ago. I bought the McDowell tumbler, I bought the Eli Gilman tumbler, I bought the Junior T-Shirt.
I purchase 4 season tickets and GSA Memberships, $2356.00 for 2023, and I’m sure it will be more this year with 7 home games.
I buy all 4 tickets and attended all the playoff games, and drove 2,250 miles to attend 6 home games and the 3 playoff games this season.
I will keep my 4 season tickets for as long as I’m able to attend games and be back next year cheering the Griz on no matter who’s playing for the Griz.
Most people thought there never be another Mariani or another Jerry Louie McGee, but Flowers and Junior came along and did wonders, just as someone else will when he’s done.
I hope the fans who can will contribute, but I have reached my limit of contributing and spending if I want to keep coming to WaGriz, and there is no guarantee of anyone staying even if the goal is or isn’t reached, sometimes you just got say enough is enough. Yes, I know it’s all about me, but I’m sure there are many others in the same position as me who will continue to cheer on the Griz no matter who is on the field.
Go Griz! 2024 is going to be another great season!

That's why there's some key words in ALL CAPS.
