He had not been performing up to those expectations and had not been showing the motor that produces a lot of pursuit opportunities. That is changing over the last three games and I think his performance is a big reason the defense made a major turn for the better. The play he made causing the fumble was the kind of hit he can deliver; it was a great play. Too many times he and others in the D do the grabbing thing to try to pull the ball out, usually resulting in continuing yardage. Kudo to Strahm; if he plays like this Murray should not be able to run QB draws past his space without paying the price this year.

+1 on the entire post. I also have been critical of #10. He has really upped his game in the last month. I'll be watching him closely in the Cat game. I'm sure he wants to kick some royal a$$ in that one. I'm quite confidant he would like to send Murray into 2018 with a limp considering the events of last years contest... :egriz:kemajic said:I've been one Strahm's biggest critics; I have high expectations for the opportunities that this position provides to make big plays. grizpaws said:I agree with Kem and P/R. The only criticism I have of Strahm is that he sometimes charges into the line too quickly and gets caught up in a block that he can't shed and the running back squirts through another hole. But he gives great effort and plays at full tilt all the time.
