A terrific game by Wisconsin. Congratulations.

Your team was great today in every facet: Shooting, defense, blocks, rebounding, FTs; as well as I've seen UW play all year. Montana didn't play well, but credit goes to UW for that. Congratulations on a good win and great play.

The Badgers plain and simple looked great and won every battle. I feel the refs called a Big 10 style of officiating which is more physical. Serious bumping down low was OK, thus we were really beat bad in the physical part of game. ESPN kept showing certain physical plays that appeared like fouls but no call. Still, Selvig did better than most Griz, but he was no match for the Wisconsin center. Plus Taylor pretty much showed why he is playing Big 10 ball and Cherry is not. Congrats to Wisconsin.

HUH? So, Cherry had a bad day and now is not as good as the Big 10 guys? yikes...You are letting emotion get the best of you....
 
Get off Cherry's ass!!! Seriously, the guy has one bad game. Hell, I cannot even call it a bad game, he was just used to not facing that good of bigs, and getting fouls, in which he did not get in the tournament. He just needs to learn to adjust his game according to officiating, and competition. He was taking the ball to the hole with ease. Next year, against that kind of competition, and officiating, he will be looking to create for teammates. He still has the talent, and will be one hell of a player next season.

Statistically, his game stunk, as for what he was doing on the floor, it was still solid.
 
Cherry is terrific. He simply struggled today. Normally, he converts at least 3/4 of those shots at the rim he had today. He was blowing by Wisconsin defenders; he just didn't finish today. Cherry could play in any conference in the nation. And I'm DAMN glad he's a GRIZ.

I agree, not fair to pick on Cherry for one off game against a good Wisconsin team. I am excited for the team coming back next year.

You can see why Taylor was getting some All-American props.
 
Gotta give it up to you guys, your sportsmanship and class following a tough defeat is rare and refreshing. I'll always hold Grizz fans in high regard - luck to you always!

Wisconsin shot the lights out and is a very good team. Montana just did not have it and when Cherry missed all but 1 of his first, what, 6 or 7 shots it seemed to get to him. Very dismal 2nd half and one I hope this team forgets and takes a lot of momentum from a great season into next year.
