Question to the cat fans, Iffance was not at 100%, correct? I expected to see him with 35 carries.

Isiah's condition had nothing to do with what happened today, for this late in the season he's in great condition. The griz d did. MSU's O line isn't playing up to expectations. Not sure what's up with McKay yet but even before today he didn't look right - no swagger/confidence. Good thing we have a great D - we'll need it.

Griz outplayed Cats in every way possible... Nothing really to say, other than good game. Your defense was flat out amazing. Your offense made plays, and your kicker made a lot of kicks. Good luck in the playoffs... Still feel the Cats will get a 1st round bye, but won't matter much if our offense plays like they did today (again, a LOT of that had to do with your great defense.)

For the life of me I could not understand why Housewright, didn't keep stretching the field. We made some adjustments, but most of our pressure, was run and pass blitzing up the middle and hoping to keep contain which could have been exploited big time with a few better hot reads or playcall adjustments. He will definitely learn from this. Hope your guys get healed up (cat fans). Hated to see the injury on the punt defense to your # 7. Looked pretty ugly. both teams were getting pretty beat up by the end as it's always a hard fought physical game.

Depends upon the matchup(s) you get. The Griz D has carried the team all year. Looking at the more recent games, that's also true for your kitties. The most points your offense has scored since the Cal Poly beat down (45-7) is 27. Yet you won all those games until yesterday ... and that included holding EWU to 20 points. I think that formula can get MSU at least one win, if not more depending upon who you face.

FWIW: After yesterday's games, NCAA stats show that the Big Sky has a bunching of strong defensive teams: MSU #11, WSU #12, UM #13 in Total Defense ... all holding opponents to less than 292 Yard per Game. Who woulda thunk it?
