Congrats Montana Soccer: Big Sky Champs

This is posted elsewhere on eGriz, but thought I'd share it here. Under new coach Chris Citkowski, the team struggled learning a new system. The shots were there, but always seemed to bounce out. Still, by holding opponents down with a tough D (and a great goalie) the shots started to find the net on the final week of regular season play. Good thing, because the Griz were on the bubble to even make the 6-team tourney)... ending up ranked 5th. Once they started scoring though, Montana became the clear class of the Big Sky, capping it all with a 1-0 championship win over Northern Colorado this afternoon. Congrats Montana Soccer. Best wishes in the NCAA tourney.
