Congrats griz from a uga fan-new griz fan

Iv followed fbs and uga football all my life grew up a die hard dawgs fan. I told my self this year I wanted to pick a fcs team at the start of the season I was down to two and decided on the griz not sure why other then I always wanted to vist Montana and I liked it was a Nike school so I started watching the games this year even if it was on at the same time as uga game. I’d get a 2nd screen so I could watch the griz on Saturdays too. Been a fun ride this year as a new fan I hope it’s ok to post here and interact with yall. Go dawgs and go grizs

This reminds me of 2009. I sat next to two guys at the chipper who’d adopted the Griz at the start of the season. One was an Alabama fan. He said he’d just sorta heard about the program and watched games online. Then drove to the championship (in TN) because it was close to his home. I am always glad when fans of a power conference take notice. Welcome! Hope your new team makes us all happy on January 7th!

Hey this forum knows about Georgia more particularly Georgia HS football. There are a couple threads from years ago about the ALLATOONA BUCS--that included a week by week view of the games. They loved following the coach that was there from there the day the school was built thru a year ago when he retired from the job and they named the field after him. People here loved the thread but many have a question that maybe you can help them with....

They wondered why there are sooooo many pauldings(east west north and county)

Ha that’s actually a great question. Unfortunately it’s one I’d like to know too. So I live wayyyy south. I’m in south ga which I’m about an hour from Florida and I also have always wondered that.
