Congrats Coach Hauck!

He deserves it. This year may have been his best coaching job yet. Winning doesn’t come easy. Takes a lot to turn things around when the wheels are coming off.

No Kidding. This year looked completely lost after the NAU game. The fact we're still in the hunt for a seed and damn near likely to get one is huge, even with a loss to the Scats. Just a damn good job that even the most pessimistic Griz fans could not demerit at this point.

No, I cannot. And I was one of the most pessimistic after NAU. He and his coaching staff have gotten this team to do everything I didn’t think it could. Davis. Idaho. Sac. Hats off and well done to Bobby and the rest of the staff and team.

SOMETHING changed after the NAU game, but WHAT? Information from him, on anything, is scarce as hen's teeth. Maybe he'll let us know in his memoirs. Time ain't on my side, though...

Credit is due! I think UM needs to offer Coach H a lifetime contract! Pay him the money and let him do his thing until he’s done!

Things have changed every game so far this year. More plays have been added, qb's have been established and are getting comfortable in the system. Defense is learning to make quick in game adjustments. An example is shutting down Sac St running game after their first drive, which Bobby acknowledge they figured out. Oline has changed technique, widened splits, and keeps improving quality depth. Defense has Bradford, T. Hauck, Cooper, and others running it. How could they not improve? Guys who are new to the secondary and CB are figuring it out, we have elite LB play. Our offensive line is really good, big, and coming into their own. Multiple plays last night where two lineman are pulling across the ball and engaging for big running gains. Some of this is just having enough understanding with the offense for these plays to get added, worked on, and executed properly. The playbook has been evoloving each week as you should expect with a change in coordinators.

Our top 3 QBs were all new to this team. Doesn't seem like much of a surprise that with a new DC and new OC things would take time to get humming. I said before the season this was the most balanced, and maybe best team across the board we've had in Bobby's time back, and maybe the last decade. Certainly the best oline since Bobby's been back. I was stoked for Pease to run this offense. The subleties are beginning to get executed and we're seeing it as improvement across the entire offense. Finally, I mentioned this team would take a bit to gel with the new direction and all of the new parts, and it has. We only lost one game doing so. Got to be at Bobby's record breaking win, makes pickles and all of the "fire everyone" threads even funnier. If we play well and stay healthy this team can beat anyone. Getting the 2 seed is key now.

Details, I love details. Now, there is one less 'mysteries of life' to contend with at the end. Thank you, sincerely, for your post. You put some skin, muscles, and organs to the skeleton I had assumed. :thumb:

124 wins is very impressive. I wonder how many career wins he will have when he retires. I could see him finishing with over 150. I also wonder if his record will ever be broken. It is rare for a coach to stay at a Big Sky school long enough to approach that many wins and there is a lot of FBS money out there to recruit successful Big Sky coaches away.
