Confusion About McDowell's Class Status

I seem to remember posts saying that McDowell was a junior. However, GoGriz lists him as a senior, and his playing background suggests that he has played for 5 seasons, including this one. So, is he a senior or a junior? Just trying to clarify it.

Really? How can a senior have one more year left? If he played in games over 5 years in his past, he would have already burned a RS year.

I assume one of the five was the Covid year that doesn’t count against eligibility.
 
There is no confusion. He has one more year left. Redshirt and Covid.

“Previous Schools: Played in two games at Louisiana-Lafayette in 2019 and 2020... completed one pass for eight yards vs. Texas Southern... transferred to Kilgore (Texas) College for the 2021 season.”

Maybe not classy...but it was kind of funny.

And just think--that means that you're posting from the grave, which is pretty awesome for you--but a questionable use of time in the afterlife, I'm thinkin'. ;)

I only meant that he had gotten long covid, which then leads to dementia. Not that he died.

Ahhh…gotcha! Not entirely clear from your post ;) . I suppose finding a message from the afterlife on eGriz is sooooomewhat unlikely, at that.
