Confirmed: Timm Rosenbach to be named Griz OC

So can someone give me the rundown on Rosenbach....he was the OC in Haucks first run with Montana?

What type of system do you anticipate he runs when he gets here?

He was the OC that Pflugrad hired in 2012 (right after their semi final run) before all hell broke loose and Robin got canned. He stuck around and was OC that year under Delaney. His offense was ranked 11th in FCS that year. Then he went with Bobby to UNLV and eventually to head coach at Adams St.

I saw Brint mentioned that he uses spread concepts but still employs TEs and FBs and that he was pretty balanced with run and pass, maybe even more heavy in pass. Timm finished 7th in the Heisman voting as a QB at Wash St and played in the NFL.

At Adams st it looks like they had a good offense averaging around 35-40 points per game but struggled defensively giving up more which led to 4-7 type seasons.

The impressive thing about 2012 which was a bad 5-6 year without J.J. was that the offense still produced with a RS-Frosh in McKinney who was not FCS caliber.

Good summary. Rosenbach played football for I think a couple years at Missoula Hellgate, before his dad, a coach, moved to Pullman to coach at WSU. When Rosenbach was in the NFL, he had a house at Flathead lake, near Polson on the west side of the lake. Was a big water skier. Threw some great parties. Rosenbach knows some of the local Griz supporters from his high school days at Hellgate. He loves to fish, and he and Bobby are fishing buddies.

2012 was generally a year I try to block out in the memory banks, haha, but Rosenbach's offense did have good numbers. Pulled them up:

236 rushing yards per game
217 passing yards per game
453 total yards per game
41% 3rd down conversions
78% scoring in the RZ / 58% TDs in the RZ

This was a done deal the day BH was hired. Even before as it was well known who he wanted. TR will be able to mold currently roster into an offense somewhere between Stitt's and BHs old one.

Not that I wouldn't mind seeing him back....I would totally support his move back to Montana, if anything, just to spite cat fans. But I certainly don't see it happening.
