Conference Players of the Week

Totally an anti-Griz pick, I think. It doesn't matter to Sneed, and it shouldn't to us. He'll end up on the Payton watch list at the end of the year, and probably win a couple of these in the future. Keep an eye on Flowers and McAfee too for special teams! Malik or Jerry will score two or three touchdowns on returns this year. Bobby's got the special teams mattering again. Defensive POTW obviously too!

FIFYS (fixed if for yourself). I wrote what I wanted to. The quality of USD is yet to be determined. They may be a 3-9 team. They may be a 11-1 team that makes a deep run in the playoffs. It was the first game and we do not know. They were 4-7 last season and have had ONLY one winning season in the last 7 years. Like I said both were deserving.

Doesn't change the fact that he racked up those "amazing" stats against the University of San Diego. Who's next on the schedule, St. Mary's of the Blind?
South Dakota was 4-7 last year and has had 6 losing season the last 7 years so it is not like Montana just whooped NDSU. South Dakota gave up an average of 34.2 points a game last season so I will give it to Sneed and Montana for scoring 31.

I was not trying to get into a pissing contest. My point was Hamler ALSO had a game worthy of the awards the same as Sneed.
South Dakota is a Missouri Valley team that returned 7 starters on offense and 8 on defense. They were also playing at home where they have not lost in 16 years for home openers. They beat NDSU there a couple years ago. I think you should ask coach Hauck what he thinks about comparing last year to this year. Montana players routinely get screwed in the Big Sky Conference for conference awards. I would point at Tyrone Holmes and Dante Olson has two example. Sneed's slight is just another example of this. I personally could give two shits about whom this conference picks for player of the week because they have shown they have no clue time and time again.

To be fair that home opener winning streak was mostly against weak teams. A few good ones but mainly garbage teams. SD isn't that great of a football team. Probably a below average fcs team. But San Diego is also garbage.. So couple guys put up great numbers against not so good teams. Really not that impressive. Especially when you're one dimensional and that's how you're getting all the offensive yards.

You're right. Who was the best offensive performer for Idaho? That's who should get the award. I mean, they played Penn Fucking State for God's sake.

Probably someone who didn't play, everybody else had negative yards.

How exactly do you know how good SD is? Maybe the Griz are really that much better than a good team? No, that can’t be it. I am pretty sure the BSC has a job waiting for you. SD really sucks and the Griz just suck a little bit.

Incidentally, that’s the second home court/field home streak the Grizzlies have ended this year in South Dakota! They beat a SDSU basketball team this year, and Mike Daum and SDSU had won 26 straight games on their home court! We may not get invited back again.

Good point. But, if we aren’t invited back to South Dakota, then what is this all for? What have we been working toward?

Any team that allows 400+ passing yards isn't a great team. That's how I know. Griz look like a pretty good team, however they didn't look great by any means. We will see how the season goes though. I'm sure both teams will progress. I do believe SD will have another losing season. They got exposed and teams are going to take advantage of that. I'm just pointing out the facts bro. Maybe you should be a Coyote fan if you love them so much. Also I never said either team sucked. Idk wth you read but that's not what I posted. I did say San Diego was garbage.. that's about it for sucking.. smoke another one homie.

Canada...I mean, North Dakota?

They aren’t the best team we’ll face this year, but last year USD lost at Kansas State 27-24! They aren’t a terrible team every year. They give UNDSU fits some years.
