FWIW, last year he predicted the W/L for all games except for the Sac St game. Scores were also pretty close minus the couple of blowouts we had during the playoffs. If the season turns out this way, I will be thrilled, but I highly doubt we will win out this year. I expect us to lose @AppSt & @EWU.

I thought it was interesting that he expects UNC to put up a bigger fight than ISU. When I ran those numbers at a neutral location it has UNC surpassing ISU 26-22. Interesting. Will we see UNC snap their losing streak this year?

I believe it does. It also updates throughout the season based on W/L records, PF/PA, SOS/SOW, etc. It's pretty neat. Obviously none of it is concrete, but it is sure fun to play with.

I'm assuming that the algorithm is assuming that JJ is the starting QB. Interesting to see how UM's ranking might change if suddenly SSH or McKinney is the guy. Some of those close wins (App St., EWU) could easily turn into losses.

Nothing against SSH or McKinney, but there will be an adjustment period if one of them is thrust into the starting role a month before the season starts.

I think the compughter is high on mar-hugh-juana as it iexceeds even my most optimistic dream. With all that has happened in Griz-ville (even if JJ stays) the outcome is expected to be better than most years. Call me a skeptic.

I have to agree with you. I do believe that this season will be successful though. I'm guessing 9-2 or 8-3 heading into the playoffs.

Hate to say it but the Griz and Cats are overrated this yea. UC Davis and EWU are way underrated.
