Comparing Numbers of Early Signings

I think I really like this early signing period. Now the coaches don't have to spend precious time holding the hands of these guys they are 95% sure are going to sign and can concentrate on some new prospects--- particularly those whose chances for FBS have dimmed. For a school like Montana this could really be a competitive advantage.

+1. & you forgot this :coffee:

Here's a list of all the kids who signed yesterday from Big Sky teams. North Dakota signed 19 but aren't listed given pending departure. Weber State and Northern Colorado signed none.

Weber and UNC SIGNED NONE?!

Now, that's bold.

Well that is a bit of a surprise but this is unchartered territory so who knows how they approached it. Very odd though, you would think they had some sure thing commits on the line they would have inked. Maybe they have something going on tomorrow? Maybe they are purposely waiting for some reason? Dunno.

I am trying to figure out why NDSU didnt keep a couple of scholarships open for possible transfers, last second de-commits. That seems awfully reckless to me. It’s good to know what players you want but it seems prudent to keep your options open.

I guess I missed the info that they are all out of $ to hand out? Dunno, I haven't really paid attention to what they have available.

Do they still have high school football in Idaho? The Vandals signed none from Idaho, ISU signed two. I didn't see any other team sign an Idaho kid. Very strange.

Strange, i agree. Around here, most kids look down on the vandals/bengals. The qb for cda high is going to UW and his favorite TE is heading to Boise. I wish we would get a few more Idaho kids, there's talent here. Theres even a kid(from Pocatello)who committed to Ohio St.
