Yeah I see your point there. It's kind of mind-boggling how much press it has gotten. Slow newsday maybe? I don't know. Definitely not a good look for MSU.

I think it was just that out of the ordinary.

What I will say is that it's a complete nothing compared to their coaches legal troubles last year amd msu's handling of them, which shamefully received no press coverage at all, largely due to sports media in Montana refusing to ask questions. THAT was the story that should have gone viral.

It was really weird to see Vigen get upset about something. He's usually such a mild-mannered Clark Kent.

Why is “you are a cat fan” everyone’s go to dig? Not once did I say that it was ok. I expect that there will be consequences. You don’t get to do that to a coach without there being any. I’m just saying that it pointing to bigger problems in their program is grasping at straws.

I'm just guessing, but for him to get that angry with a player after a win, no less, suggests to me that this was far from being the first time he's had issues with Davis.
