Which one would you rather play for?
Fife?Makes Bobby and Vidlak look like a playground event.
Yep, Fife.Fife?
Huh? What’s odd?Clearly. But that’s an odd drum to beat. Heard that it was a misunderstanding that got heated.
Not defending anything. I just think it’s going to end up being a nothing burger. Agree it’s not a good look, but after the Fife blow-up last year, it’s kind of a pot calling the kettle black kind of thing.Huh? What’s odd?
Both coaches are filmed after a playoff win
One looks awesome
The other is a terrible look
Trying to excuse it is ridiculous
It will surely follow Davis to any NFL interviews he may have. No coach or teams wants a player who acts like that towards his head coach and then keep doing it for a long time, especially when it is being televised on tv. It’s so easy to pearl clutch about this. Yes there will be consequences. The kid does not get a pass. It’s a bad look. But that’s about it. People want to read into what’s going on. It looks like Davis screwed up in a bad way. Other posters have insinuated that there is bigger problems over the hill from this, which is really where I think the “nothing burger” lies. I could probably have articulated that better, lol.It will surely follow Davis to any NFL interviews he may have. "The kid is a punk. Pushing his coach and teammate. No excuse for that shit!!"
Don't know what you think a nothing burger is. It's already done huge damage to MSU and FCS football. Everybody's talking about it.
The incident absolutely embarrasses Montana State. It's an unbelievably bad look. It doesn't how it started or who was slightly more in the right, a player, just like an employee, cannot do that and act like that with his coach or his boss. I assume you're not saying that every time a coach or employer makes a mistake, the players or employees have the right to go ballistic on them? My god, what are you thinking?
Pearl clutch? Good grief, I had my doubts that you were a bub fan; thanks for confirming. It’s so easy to pearl clutch about this. Yes there will be consequences. The kid does not get a pass. This isn’t LeGarette Blount decking Byron Hout.
My guess is...nothing. I would be shocked if Davis isn't suited up and starting this weekend. And now what Vigen does or doesn’t do in regards to discipline could lead to further embarrassment to him/program.
Why is “you are a cat fan” everyone’s go to dig? Not once did I say that it was ok. I expect that there will be consequences. You don’t get to do that to a coach without there being any. I’m just saying that it pointing to bigger problems in their program is grasping at straws.Pearl clutch? Good grief, I had my doubts that you were a bub fan; thanks for confirming.
If you want to attempt to defend the player’s ridiculous behavior, there is a separate thread for that kind of lame bullshit.
This thread is to contrast the different attitudes of the head coaches. Even if everything was hunky-dory and bubz won big, do you think your coach veggie-tray would crowd surf a mosh pit? Maybe only at a Kenny G concert?
I doubt he’s going to sit one of his best players during a playoff run. Lol.And now what Vigen does or doesn’t do in regards to discipline could lead to further embarrassment to him/program.
Exactly........Bobby on the other hand my guess is would sit him and the message sent to all current and future players there is a line you do not cross regardless of talent in this program.I doubt he’s going to sit one of his best players during a playoff run. Lol.
I'm with you on this. First that Griz fans can't throw stones after what happened between Bobby and Fife last year, and second that it's not as big of a deal as everyone is making it out to be. Yeah the bad press is not good, but ultimately it's a big nothing burger. And yet the argument will go on for 17 more pages because egriz...Why is “you are a cat fan” everyone’s go to dig? I’d still take Hauck crowd surfing though! They clearly know how to have fun!

I tend to agree with your fist point, but disagree with your second.I'm with you on this. Yeah I see your point there. It's kind of mind-boggling how much press it has gotten. Slow newsday maybe? I don't know. Definitely not a good look for MSU.I tend to agree with your fist point, but disagree with your second.
This is a much bigger deal simply by the sheer nature of how many people have seen the video. The fife deal didn't attract any national attention. This event has led to millions and millions of views, and millions of comments on SM, none of them positive.
