Colorado and Wyoming are very low power teams. We could prob compete with them almost every year. We played wash well and they would beat both those teams. VCU is in the heart of the east. If they are going to play at a small school would you choose STAYING in the east or traveling to a state moat people in the USA can't even find on a map. If your in the west..most kids want to play in California or go big time. If they are gonna stay out west and play for a mid major that team better be fun to be at or very successful. Aka Oregon or gonzaga. Gonzaga didn't build thier program in a day. We won't either. Plus our recruiting budget is pretty small compared to most big schools. Its hard to go get recruits in Texas or the east. $$$ and time. Unless your 100% on one kid its hard to spend that much trying to get one guy. Cause if it doesn't work out. Well you have built even less relationships. Its not as easy as many think it is

Good points. I just remember being in junior high and going to Griz games....you could not get anyone else into that place with a shoehorn. I would love to see that atmosphere come back as that atmosphere, a la the football team, you could recruit some talent who would come to nowhere Montana to play.
