Where we will be Hosting for certain. You can all see what a real basketball arena looks like, and if we happen to play the UM you can watch the Griz get taken to the woodshed by Weber, Is that how you say it up there, anyway tough loss at EWU today 5 BSC losses now don't lose anymore you may lose any chance of a first round bye.

You have a fine team, you should be very proud, but don't be suck a dick, or you will have to relocate to bozeman. ;)

You're really thumping your chest after the beat-down the Griz just gave your boys?

We each won at Home, but

Weber State 11-2
Northern Colorado 9-4
Montana 9-5 OUCH!

If I were you guys I would keep looking up all the BSC tiebreaker rules, just in case.
gotta love delusional UM fans.

Take a look at history dufus, and you will see the Griz have won the BSC tourney on the road many times. We played like crap at ogden and still had a shot. The Griz match up well with you and you know it. I look forward to a rematch, even if it is in the shithole called Ogden. The arena is nice, I will give you that but thank God for Park City, Ogden blows.

We might meet up, if you can get past the first round, and then the Semis, but you guys just lost to one of the worst teams in the Sky, and recent history shows you got knocked out of the first round last year.

Hey Biotch, what does recent history tell you about the last time your kittens played the Griz? Let me remind you punk... GRIZ 75 weber 61 :jack: so much for your smack pussyboy

I would agree that Weber is the class of the conference, much like we are in football. They can be beat as we showed, but they will be tough in Ogden.

Frankly, unless several players step up big time, we aren't going very far. Johnson has carried us on his back for too long. He needs help. Qvale & McGillis are virtually non existant.

hey mvp,

enuf of the trash talk or at least hold off, remmber what happened last yr when we hosted...

Really, there is no need to trash Montana, yeah they got 5 losses, so what, the big sky is competitive this year, you realize that we could have 4 losses right now, ISU should have beat us in Pokey, if Morgan would have made his second freethrow, and MSU could have beaten us if the fresh prince would have made his freethrows and tied the game at the end. Montana won at UNC, we couldnt.

Im not ususally one to complain about refs since its the Big Sky and its basicaly natural to have bad refs, but I thought the refs in the game in Missoula between WSU and UM was one sided, 22 fouls to just 12, Montana gets 18 more freethrows, in the second half Montana was in the double bonus before they ever even got thier first foul, Weber wasnt allowed to play defense at all, all they had to do was touch either Cherry or AJ and there was a foul.

Yeah we might be hosting, but lets not let that get to our heads, MSU wiped us out at home in the semi's of the tournament last year, so until its done keep the smugness to a minimum.

You sound like a damn politician, as soon as you said you don't like to complain, all you do is complain. At least your coach admitted what everyone knew..the Griz dominated the game in Missoula because they were the agressor. Take a look at the free throw differences in some of your wins you dumbass, maybe you will get it, but I have my doubts.

people who just look at free throws and use that to determine the officiating was bad are way off. sure, there are certainly times when one team goes to the far more than the other, and it MAY be an indication of poor officials. however, more times than not, all it means is one team attacks the basket more than the other. the cats have gone to the line less than their opponent so many times this year i lost track. but that's not because we don't get the calls. it's because we rarely penetrate and spend nearly all of our time on the perimeter. unc is a perfect example. they drive to the basket like crazy, and they have went to the line way more than any team in the league. like 170 more times than the cats! take a peak at these numbers, and i'm sure you can easily relate the amount of free throws shot to the style of play each team has.

UNC - 501
WSU- 437
UM - 367
SAC - 365
EWU- 361
PSU - 357
NAU- 335
MSU- 328
ISU - 327

all in all, i don't think unc or weber should ever bring up not getting to the line enough. ;)

Still a lot of basketball left to play. Anything can happen.

I'm not banking on anything after last year. Just because you get the right to host doesn't mean you get an automatic invitation to the "Dance." Gotta take it one game at a time.

If there is one thing all fans of the Big Sky can agree on is that the REFS are beyond horrible.

McGillis, yes, but Qvale, even if he isn't scoring much, is usually great defensively.

In Rahe's first year at Weber when we hosted and had David Patten on our team, I remember watching the first semi final game between Montana and NAU, and I remember seeing Montana's coach (was it Tinkle?) wearing a white shirt and a purple tie, I dont know if he did that on purpose to try to get the Weber crowd on his side or not , but if he did it was pretty ingenious, because the crowd was backing Montana, I thought it was pretty funny
