Any simple fool can get on e-griz during the football season. The off-season kicks ass and it's threads like this that prove that point. I hope this makes 17 pages!

Shit's definitely getting real. Someone should tell these ruffians that eGriz debates about 40-yard times usually end with a tip of the cap, a gentleman's handshake, and some brandy in the parlour.
  Too frickin' funny. After the first page and a half, this is the highlight if this thread.

So Jordan Tripp is one of the elite athletes in the entire country? If he is this far ahead of the rest of the world on athletic talent how exactly did he land at Montana? Was he a 4 or 5 star coming out of high school? If he is as good as I am reading one here is it possible he just dominates the NFL like Butkus or Taylor did? This is special if you are Tripp and you find out you are better than all the other players in the country, good for him!

My gawd you are a fucking dbag.

And you continue to fail miserably at this troll approach. Try something else.

I guess just re-reading your infamous posts on the "crapping on the safeties" thread would be to easy? Did you forget that one? You accused Ursa of having two screen names. Then you accused him of being related to Jake Coogan. And finally, after you did your super secret research, you determined that me and Ursa where the same poster. How much more do I need to do? You even say more embarrassing things in that tread that I won't mention. C'mon football expert. Try not to be such a easy target next time. Hayseed!

Mr. Coogan,

Once again you are showing that California intelligence... Ursa accused me of being someone else because I agreed with that person. To which I flipped him some shit back by turning it around on him and saying something to the effect of that by his logic he must also be CV since he agrees with him (you). You keep trying to turn it around though, I would expect nothing less of a man who has to live through his kid.

Now again, I challenge to find these predictions I've made and show me the proof of them being wrong. In the meantime I'll sit back and watch you self destruct as I continue to inform everyone who you are and what your agenda is Mr. Coogan. I'm just doing my due diligence, the people of egriz deserve to know why you are so critical of griz players and coaches.

How's Jacob doing by the way? Hopefully he has recovered from that injury. You know it's too bad, I'm told he was a good kid. It's a shame his dad has to try to live through him and "make things right" by taking his agenda to an online fan forum.

Lastly, Don't play stupid with me Mr. Coogan. You'll win every time.

Sincerely,
Thurman

I don't need to play stupid with you Thurman. Your posts speak for themselves. Plus, because I don't know how to erase anything, I still have your creepy PMs.

Mr. Coogan,

Yet another example of you bending the truth to try to save face and keep your agenda from being exposed. A threat to post my PM's is laughable at best. You go right ahead and post them for everyone to see. I had been told something by another member so I PM'd you a simple question asking you if it was correct. That's not creepy in the least bit. What is creepy however is a father that has to live through his son in order to be happy, and when his dreams for his kid don't turn out then takes to a message board to attack his kid's former teammates and coaches. Mr. Coogan you need a hobby or something that will take your mind off your son's experience as a griz.

Also, I'm still waiting for you to post even a single example of a prediction I made or info I posted and how it was incorrect.

Thanks for the continued opportunity to expose you.

Have a great day Mr. Coogan!

Whether I am Coogan's dad, Bienemann's dad, Ursa Major or anybody else that you've accused me of being in the past, your point is moot. Your whole issue is that you didn't like my comments about one particular Griz defender. Your PMs were quite clear. I am sorry you got offended. That was not my original intention. The strange thing is that I agreed with about 80% of your original post about the 2012 safety play, and I acknowledged you for it at the time. Are my opinions anymore accurate than any other posters? No. But at least I don't try to degrade other posters opinions by claiming that my opinions are more valid because I'm more of a football expert. Self-aggrandizement is not a virtue. Like I said to you last year, "post your opinions". Your views will be proven or disproven over time. By the way, like Ursa said last year to you, I don't have time, like you, to do a complete research of all of your past e-Griz posts to prove you wrong. Although your claim that "the Griz secondary was back" after the App State game was a little premature IMO.

And to think that the topic of this thread is "Combine Results / OLB".

The blather that followed some good info on that topic in this thread reminds me of the old game "Telephone". What comes out at the end is guaranteed to be absolutely nothing like what was originally stated.

The post above yours calculates Bolt's 40 time at 4.1, and 3.85 hand held--so no reason for you to just make up a 4.3.

Maybe read my whole post before you say stupid stuff. I didn't "make up" a number I said he would run around that area. Which, even by what ESPN has said, is around right.

Your calculations are using horrible math in a scenario that doesn't match. Combine does not allow spikes or blocks. That significantly changes your "math."

So please stop, you're being downright stupid.

P.S. Maybe learn your facts too about timers before you spout it too. You are being hypocritical about posting "incorrect" information if you don't even know how the combine times runs.

Not that I would be a dick and out a players parent on the board I can say with 100% certainty that it isn't Coogans dad. One...because we drink beer often when he is in town and she one because his IP and email do not track back to where you think they do.

Mr.Coogan,

1) please show me where I said "the griz secondary" is back. I don't seem to recall that.

2) my issue with you is not you calling out a single player. It is you bashing multiple players and the entire coaching staff. And doing so based on "football knowledge" that is simply wrong. And no that's not an opinion it's a fact. You have a clear cut agenda because you don't like how things turned out for your son, so yes I have an issue with that.

3) you keep bringing up that you may be one of several people in order to deflect your true identity and agenda. I have never once publicly claimed you were anyone other than a relative of Coogan. This has become quite clear. Are you denying this?

My pleasure,
Thurman

A quick search of Thurman and CV posts showed the following. Thurman appears not to have said secondary play is back. See below.

1. CV (6/22) - Tully is a good athlete but he rarely makes plays, particularly tackles. I think Hermanson understands the game, he is after all the son of a HS coach, he just isn't very athletic. Neither player has the complete tools to play the position IMO.

2. CV (6/26) - *Hermanson had trouble before any injury issues supposedly came up. He looked bad in the SHSU semi final game in 2011,the South Dakota game and the App State game. Just look at the tape. He is not great in "space" and he has trouble against the more athletic players. [Hermanson was 2d all-Big Sky in '13 and 2d on the team in tackles, and Tully was honorable mention all-Big Sky]

Tully just can 't tackle very well and he is out of position a lot."

3. Thurman (6/26) - Reasons for bad safety play or the appearance of bad safety play last season include.

-A very solid front 7 that pretty much shut down MOST teams run games, led to a higher percentage of passes.
-A first year DC who is still learning and lost 9 starters including 2 NFL draft guys.
-A safety coach who quite frankly was just too old to effectively coach/communicate.
-A lack of shut down corners who could help the safeties out.
-Injuries
-An offense who was ineffective at best.
-A lack of safety depth to provide both rest and more importantly competition to push the safety play to be better.

Things that will be changed and I think will help turn around safety play next year.

-A DC and a complete secondary with another year of experience under their belt.
-JJ IS BACK. This one is more important than many people realize. The best defense is a good offense. Simply put, the O did not do a good enough job of putting long drives together and keeping the D off the field. I joke that nobody is more happy to have JJ back than coach G.
-We will be playing more “press” coverage with our corners this year. This was evident in the spring and should make you “corners are 10 yards deep every play” guys happy.
-A young and knowledgeable safety coach who will demand the most from his players.
-look for a more aggressive year on D. More pressures with a man free type coverage. This requires both a D front who can get home and a D secondary who can cover. Coach G feels like this is going to be the case this year and I would not be surprised to see it result in more aggressive play calling.

4. Thurman (9/1) - Can't wait for CV to chime in with his biased interpretation and try to tell us how actually the secondary didn't play very well and how app state has horrible receivers and qb's. Should be interesting.

[Didn't see a CV response to the above post; Thurman's next posts were on 9/12 and 11/1, and didn't involve secondary play; didn't see any post praising secondary play after the App St game or saying the secondary was back]

5. You can spot a poster who doesn't know what he's talking about and can't defend his position, because he relies on making up stuff about what another poster said and attacking it. I find it interesting that a parent of another player comes on egriz to diss the competition).

Thanks for doing that research. I knew it went something like that but really didn't want to look it all up... As everyone can see CV's claims never add up. He simply twists things and tries to deflect attention that brings to light his agenda.

I was originally thinking it was a multiple personality disorder. and then I realized they are all the same personality just different names, so its not mental illness. There is just not a personality big enough for that much ego, so it has to be spread across several different ones.

I still think the best thread of all time would be an all PR thread. One where every post was made by one of his multiple names...................

Will you people quit picking on PlayerRep, he adds information and posts like yours do not all you do is be negative and derail threads. It is just jealously because he knows people and more things than you do. Just leave him alone or don't post. Quit runing the sight for everyone.

I find it funny that all the posters who have obvious despise for the program and it's players and coaches all come to each others rescue when one of them is put in their place. Correct me if I'm wrong TNT as I am not on egriz very frequently, but you are one of the negative posters about the program, correct? I seem to recall certain things like you being determined jj was guilty, player/coach/program bashing, etc.
