According to Jordan's agent on twitter, his 3.96 20 yard shuttle tied the NFL combine record for LB's (AJ Hawk Ohio State 2006)

what was the bet?
I bet her $100 that Tripp wouldn't be on an opening day 53 man roster.

I said Trumaine was going to be the best active griz player in the NFL when he went and I said Tripp will be a 2nd string/possible long snapper in a 3-4 round range. Looks like I need to go work for espn.

Were all just happy you stopped making those "walking downtown naked" bets, big guy!!
I thought two players from the Western part of the United States showed up at this Combine and put on a nice show were, Jordan Tripp of Montana and Jordan Zumwalt of UCLA. These were players that we had a chance to see at the Senior Bowl and they came to Indianapolis with a purpose in mind. Usually when you see linebackers in that 6-3 to 6-4 range, they don’t move as well in the drills but that was not the case at all with these guys. I really liked what I saw with Tripp and Zumwalt as overall athletes. There numbers put them right there with several of the top linebackers we are talking about in this draft. While they worked there was not that stiffness or struggle to turn and move. Both players were smooth and looked comfortable, no matter what they were asked to do. What was impressive about these players that I was waiting for them to fall apart in the drills and get sloppy but that wasn’t the case at all. It was a nice showing for both.
7. Jordan Tripp (OLB-Montana) - Originally projected to a be a late rounder, Tripp thoroughly impressed in his combine performance yesterday, which could elevate his draft stock considerably. Tripp was a top performer in both his 20 yard shuttle and 3 cone drill. In addition, Tripp has impeccable character, loves the game, and works hard both on and off the field. These traits will be attractive to teams around the league.
Keep an eye on Montana linebacker Jordan Tripp
Tripp stood out from my perspective because he moves like a strong safety. At 6’3”, 234 pounds, the linebacker has the footwork, transition skills and the lateral ability that allows him to sink his hips and drive on the ball.
The Montana product posted an official 4.67 40 time, but I was more focused on his skill set as it applied to the positional work on the field. This is where Tripp showcased the athleticism I saw during the Senior Bowl sessions. And while I do believe Tripp has to get stronger as he develops in the pro game, he has the ability to develop as a Nickel linebacker early in his NFL career.

:roll:Big G said:So Jordan Tripp is one of the elite athletes in the entire country? If he is this far ahead of the rest of the world on athletic talent how exactly did he land at Montana? Was he a 4 or 5 star coming out of high school? If he is as good as I am reading one here is it possible he just dominates the NFL like Butkus or Taylor did? This is special if you are Tripp and you find out you are better than all the other players in the country, good for him!
