Colter Nuanez take on the Big Sky this year!

How do you know the opponents will be favored? We haven't even played a game yet. If the the Griz come out tough like I think they will the Griz could just as likely be favored in every game after the first. Are you just assuming that everything stays static based on a preseason poll and there is no movement? And sorry, but every time the cats are ranked higher than the Griz I'm hardly convinced they're the better team. Generally, they meet up and my suspicions are confirmed and my wallet fatter. Defense, my friend.

I don't know they'll be favored. That is just my estimate. We know for a fact that NDSU is favored, so that's one. When they beat you (Yes, they are going to beat you soundly despite a bunch of predictions on here that you're somehow going to spring the upset with the miracle coach). Then going into the CP game, I don't know who will be favored but probably UM, depending on how bad NDSU beats you. I predict a loss there and then Liberty will be favored and will probably beat you. That takes you to NAU and they may be favored because you'll be 0-3. God forbid you lose that one. I think you win and keep winning until ISU although if any of those four middle teams of UCD, Weber, UND, PSU start strong there might be a pick em game in there. Then I think isu will be favored and win, same with EWU, but i have you beating EWU. That brings us the brawl and we'll be favored. Of course since we're favored in that one we'll win!

The only place I might be off in these predictions is in the first three games. You may surprise me and win one of those. You won't win two, and you won't win two of your last three either. So best case 7-4 worst case 5-6.

You're welcome.

Let me see if I have the facts right. A man who makes a living sell Bobcat propaganda to the Bobcat fans has predicted the Bobcats will have an exceptional year, and their perpetual nemesis will have a bad year.

Might these sort of predictions help him sell his product to the long suffering, low esteem, dilusional crowd in blue & gold? Correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't this about sum it up?

I'll take that bet for any sum of money you wish to wager. Any amount. Just name it.

I will bet $20.00 that you drop the NDSU and liberty game. I think you smoke cp...you have them at home and their D is suspect this year.

I'd bet 100 times that, but I know you'd never take the bet, and certainly wouldn't honor it when you lose.

But it’s the Grizzlies again as Montana will try to avoid going 0-2.

So he's just penciling in the NDSU game as loss? :lame:

A team installing a new offense, a new coach, a new QB, coming off a pretty rough showing on offense last year, and one that's lost 3/4ths of it's D-line (the only position to hold its own against NDSU last year) vs the 4 time national champs....

I'd pencil it in too.

I agree on the NDSU game but the rest? Stitt will be crucified if he goes 6-5 and misses the playoffs. MSU at 10-1? C'mon.....

Pflu took a lot of heat for 7-4 and while not totally in his control Delaney took a beating (on this board) for 5-6. If we do go 6-5 there would be quite a few that would jump right up and probably proclaim other coaches could've done better.

On the other hand I think a lot of people look at this schedule and recognize that it's a very tough one. My gut-feeling right now is 7-4 but 6-5 could be very realistic if this team doesn't lock it in this fall camp and early season.

I understand your lack of optimism on the NDSU game, but as far as the conference schedule goes...I don't think we're going to face a defense other than UND's that will be able to slow down this offense enough, even if there are kinks to work out.

Couple that with what will be a pretty stout defense, and I think we have as good a shot as anybody to at least share the conference title.

How do we know that our offense is going to be so spectacular? I think its a little early to say that. I hope your right and our offense if spectacular but i think there will be a lot of wrinkles to iron out at the beginning of the season. Lets just hope they can pick it up and get things going sooner than later..

The talent is there, and as I understand, the playbook isn't all that difficult to learn, it's more a matter of execution.

But, that's just my sugar-coated, never-played-the-game opinion.

Thanks for the outlook...I honestly didn't know how the season would turn out. Now I don't need to watch any games...also, if you could give me some offensive and defensive stats for the year, that would be great. Thanks again. Cat fans are definitely reliable for a good, accurate Griz prediction, year in and year out.
