Colt Anderson - All Pro

Hammer said:
The Griz used to expect to go to the NC game, and usually did. Now it seems like it's a long ways away. I was kinda partial to the 3 games at home in the playoffs gig vs watching the cats in the playoffs gig. Thats just me.

Same feelings here, Hammer!

It just seemed SO WRONG, the last few weeks, reading about the playoff & the National Championship...and hardly a mention about the Griz!

That kinda' stuff is just crazy, and AIN'T RIGHT!

The cause(s) needs to be fixed most ricky-tick!

Congrats Colt!!!

How ironic another GRIZ getting recognition for special teams? What GRIZ coach told us the ticket to the NFL was special teams play? What GRIZ coach has developed more NFL players than any in GRIZ history?

You all know the answer. Amazing how so many of you say that coach could not coach. Pretty damn impressive for a coach that could not coach.

And just where is "ALPHAGRIZ1" when you need him?

As much as I admire Colt, I believe that if you read this article carefully, it's only CBS Sports' guesses about who will be All-Pro, not the actual picks.

Not that he won't be named All-Pro, just that he hasn't yet.

That is incorrect. There is not just one all pro team. AP, UPI, and Sporting News select all pro teams. Colt made the all pro team selected by CBS Sports. the article is not a "guess" about who CBS believes will make all pro. It specifically states that it is CBS Sports all pro team.

Congratulations to Colt. I was ecstatic when the Vikings got him but the Vikings couldn't find a way to put him on the field, even special teams. Shows you how effed up the Vikings are when they can't find a way to get this guy on the 53 man roster.

You apparently are correct. My bad. CBS Sports seems to be a minor player in this All-Pro award giving biz, though, with their award seemingly given by only two (or more--hard to tell from the video on the below-linked CBS website) of their sportswriters. Not exactly the most prestigious All-Pro list. But realizing that all of them are merely one group or another's opinion, it's still nice to know that he's highly regarded by those who should be paying attention to such things.

Regardless, he deserves all the props he gets.
