Just curious... What are ya gettin at? Does this have anything to do with Griz football? If not, discard my comment. (I don't know much about the MWC.)

People in other threads have speculated that UM coach candidates may be in the running for the CSU job. If true, the CSU search would be very relevant to the UM coach search, which obviously is the biggest discussion topic on the board now.

I read this morning that the search firm recommended Scott Frost.

Dave Baldwin is practically begging for the job.

Frost would be a huge get for CSU if they could pry him away from Oregon. Of course they have the $5 MM McElwain settlement to work with. I wonder if Lubick would be positioned to succeed Frost at UO.

Pretty Much. Never know about a unknown or sleeper though. CSU has really focused on Frost and it ramnation is believed he will be the next CSU HC as it appears they are close to a deal.

Right on bro! If CSU people weren't so stupid Stitt would be off the market.

Although I know no one on UM staff, I do have contact with athletic staff member at CSU. Frost/Lubick has always been the preferred choice with Dave Baldwin lagging behind as a fallback candidate. Stitt inquired about HC job but was told that he was more viable as an OC candidate as far as CSU was concerned.

If anyone doubts what I say, I posted this same info 10 days ago, plus previous to that sent certain eGriz guru this same information in a private PM prior to that. If he chooses he can confirm that.

Doesn't mean Frost will be hired only that he is their preferred candidate. Unfortunately my contact was 3rd party, and the middle guy's father died last week. I did not follow up before I left Colorado and headed back to work in Texas for obvious reasons.
