I agree. I kinda was being sarcastic but there is a line between smack talk and being rude. I dunno I think our relationship with every team should be exactly like our relationship with the app state fans.

I sensed the sarcasm in your Utah comment. I thought it was funny but then again have never been a fan of political correctness.
 
Coastal fans, there is a lot of smack talk on egriz, but you win the first round and show up in Zootown wearing your Carolina parka (one assumes there is a CC parka) with a flask in your pants and you will have one fine time. Montanans are better in person than on blogs.
 
The last thing I intended to do was push the smack boundaries, at least before they even played B-C. I just registered on coastalfan and saw a bunch of Montana-is-overrated talk like they were NAU or something. I saw one of us posted the youtube clip of the App State snow game and added some info about our playoff history (16-0 vs SoCon!). Next, I am seeing the incest / backwoods comments and I am thinking, "now where is AG1 anyway?" ! Man I swear the whole thread was gone this AM, but maybe I am wrong. Anyway, Coastals board seems pretty thin skinned. I never even got into real smack mode and they redlined. :twisted: :mrgreen: I will await the outcome of their game before responding again.

I agree. They are full of themselves. I hope we get a shot at them. They are coming off of the first losing season in more than a decade. Their QB returned this year after being cleared of rape charges, and they act as if there is just no way that we can compete with them. They would not even be where they are if the NCAA did not have such a hard-on for them. They have a nice stadium, and they have managed to win a lot because they are basically the only thing to do in Montana outside of getting it on with your sister or cousin out back in the shed. Yeah Hammer I did. My problem is Grizzle announces to go over and talk smack. Then A-Typical, someone starts swatting at a hornet's nest and their fan base throws out a little incest and backwood comment. Then some Griz fans then get all offended.
I don't think they really give a shit about old App video's and records. I get tired of hearing the same old mantra and I love the Griz.
Then coming back here and crying about posts being deleted is just stupid...again, just my two cents but it's just pot stirring.
I'm fine with some smack but there's just a fine line to having fun and making us look like a bunch of J.A.'S over a message board.

Get the timeline straight DMont. Personally I found the stuff they posted to be offensive. Whether or not my totally innocuous post regarding UM's playoff environment was removed or not, I never went apesh*t on their board. Kindly remove your head now and look around.
 
You guys are such a holes. Have some respect for their fans and remember CC is a institution of higher learning. If you had ever been to one of their games you would have enjoyed the artistic performance of a lifetime during the halftime performance. Who would have thought a band could play the many banjos so harmoniously. Incredible.

If they can hang their hat on 5 playoff seasons as being confident, then I can see they don't really have anything else to smack about other then offensive posts.
I just remember all the shit Marshall fan's talked about us in '95 so that's how I see us now...driver's seat

That is true D! I remember a lot of "they have no idea what they are about to run into....stuff." They were correct on the quality of their team, just had no idea of the character and heart of that Griz team. Not much respect from the fans nor the team in that one.

The ignorance towards playing in cold weather from all these southern teams fans always amazes me. Its always the same thing..Ohh Montana just plays up the cold weather bs...its a joke..how can they not understand this...the cold affects everyone...growing up in eastern MT and playing football in the cold, I know just like all griz fans know..its difficult. even for boys that grow up in MT...everythings harder..the hits hurt more..the cuts are more difficult..its harder to catch your breathe and the turf is HARD. I cant believe the ignorance. Watch highlights of Chase Reynolds in the cold..he was an amazing cold weather player..all of his cuts are perfect..it forces you to stand up straighter and get your feet underneath you. Also does coastal play on grass? that turf is a different animal this time of the year.

I did the same. Nowhere to be found, initially. He clearly deleted, and then reinstated the posts. One of my wife's cousins is a huge CC fan, and he told me that this is how Randy runs his website.
