The Griz didn't struggle in key games in the first year; and they didn't lose 4 of 5 key games at the end of the second year, nor lose to bottom-dweller MSU in the final game of the season, AT MISSOULA. Nor did the Head Coach issue a regretful apologia at the post-season press conference, promising to re-evaluate every phase of the program entirely, right up until the opening game, September, 2017.

Awesome is reached at 17 pages.

I'm having trouble weighing quantity vs. quality. There are occasionally awesome posts on this forum but they usually aren't part of a 17 page discussion that wanders so far from topic. Stitt has a three year contract which, unless unbeknownst forces exert themselves, he will fulfill. The stars have aligned with a favorable schedule. If he is able to produce a 7-4 record with a win against the Cats (even not making the playoffs) he probably will get a one year extension. Hopefully the Griz will be better than that. If not Stitt will be a large subject of conversation next November. I know many of you, like myself, are just waiting for September 2.

Stop speaking this kind of craziness that is based upon common sense. This will not do. Pitchforks, the sky is falling, the program is the wrong hands, you are embracing mediocrity, Stitt is Satan, he lost the team, he can't recruit, Hauck is better, the Bobcats are terrible but they rule the Griz, you never played the game, Sulser chose the Griz because he had no other choice, the Champions Center is not level and will sink, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

I've been a paid employee at UM in sports continuously, as well as a coach, in Olympic level sports all during that time (45 years). On this one, I called it right two years ago. Stitt admitted it last November at his lugubrious press conference, confirming everything I had been saying.

Just because you keep saying things doesn't mean it's true.... most people have the ability to read and the ability to interact with others that they disagree with in a mature way. You just simply don't have those abilities. The sad fact is everyone knows that you don't have those abilities except you.
