Coach Roast, Dinner and Fundraiser

The event was a fabulous tribute to UM, Missoula and a lot of great coaches. The sincere emotion that all the coaches expressed toward all we love as fans was moving. They all joked about but meant it when they told Travis not to screw it up.

Kennedy was not invited. Apparently the tree was properly pruned.

By its nature a fund raiser is just that. Its too bad there couldn't have been some other forum for exposure to the fans. In terms of the cost, though, we need to remember that our program has done more on less at all times. Anything that can be done to increase the necessary dollars to help get to the next level--where Travis wants to to---is beneficial to us all.

Contratulations to Travis for putting it together.

Full tent at the Ranch Club.....200+ (guessing). Lots of lines from these guys....Krysko talked about hazing Tinkle on a road trip. Stole all of Murphy's athletic tape. Wrapped Tinks up like a mummy. Put him in an elevator and hit the buttons to stop at all floors of the hotel......later "wished he'd been a little nicer to Wayne once he started trying to recruit Tres". Holst claimed to have gotten both Larry and Wayne into coaching here (think he did) and with their big new contracts wondered about a finder's fee. Selvig claimed intro of Monty to his wife......Monty was such a basketball junkie that when the coaches went to Stocks he'd spend all his time alone at the bar drawing up out of bounds plays. Somehow got him to pay attention to a couple women once and he's now been married to one of them for 30+ years. There's a start.
