Coach Pflu - OC at EWU?

Come on, let's be real. NAU, I could maybe see him going there. I don't think Beau Baldwin would want him at EWU though. Beau Baldwin will probably just promote someone on their current staff. All I know is, Eastern is slowly starting to fall a part, which is good for next year because they may not be as tough as they have been

BB is a heck if a recruiter.....as we all know better ball players make for genius coaches.....problem is, he can also coach them up over time......just giving him his due....I believe stitt will be the same way soon.....

I think most people understand that Pflugrad got a bone deal at Montana so I don't think perceptions of past transgressions would be an issue. I think the bigger issue would be offensive styles. The "Oregon" type offense that Pflugrad ran at Montana is vastly different than what EWU runs. Although we did run a lot of zone-read stuff this year with Gubrud, it's more of a pass first type offense.

Lol, what? Our season ended like 2 weeks ago and we have probably the best recruiting class in school history so far...on paper, anyway.

We lost a great OC that was only at EWU for a year. Not sure how that equates to falling apart.

THIS! EWU is far from worried. Yes they will have to get a new OC in but he will most likely run the same system or very similar. BB is the best coach in the Bigsky and maybe best in the FCS. They have a good recruiting class right now. when you have success people move on. montana knows this as much as anyone. the only trouble for EWU will be when BB leaves. Its hard to stay a national contender through HC changes. EWU doesnt look like they will have to deal with that for a while still. Good for them. EWU is still at full speed, far far from sinking

Not sure why you'd say that. We have the second highest winning percentage in the Big Sky in the past ~25 years, and definitely one of the highest in the FCS in the past 10.
