Coach hiring

Is there or isn't there some rule that a college seeking an interview with another college's coach has to be given approval by that employing college first before contacting their coach?

No. But it is usually a courtesy to contact the AD of the coach's school.

I dunno. If a fairly decent fbs team comes knocking, what's really holding stitt here?

Twas/is a roller coaster first season here. Hardly proven. How many years has Baldwin been having pretty good success with EWU and he is still around. (Prior to this year) Stitt will likely go at some point which most all of the successful coaches at our level do but I think he has a little more to prove before they come a knockin'. Many Griz fans still aren't on board with him it would be a tough sell for an AD of an FBS school.

I will say this. He has seemed to transform and adapt throughout this season and maybe isn't as stubborn as some of us once thought. I might have cursed him a time or two this year but I was on board last summer and continue to be. Very competitive guy and sCATS fans are liking him less all of the time which I can appreciate.
