Saw the Coach Stitt show on the DVR tonight and they showcased Coach Germer. Talk about a no-nonsense, let's get it done, kind of guy. Love the way he holds the kids accountable and coaches them up. If the O-Line can't get its DOLA back under Germer, then they'll never get it back.

True. But he does need talent.....
 
I loved Gragg as a player, but I felt like his heart wasn't in it for awhile and his lines got soft. Germer has work to do. If you ain't in it to win it, you will find your way down the depth chart.
 
Just a question and not a comment. When was the last time an lineman got a personal foul for cleaning up a perceived late hit. Use to drive me crazy but there was an edge of don't screw with us.
 
They've shown improvement over the year despite injuries and and lack of depth. I think once we have some of his guys in the system that fit the new system Griz get DOLA back!
 
Todd #68 got a PF late in the Idaho State game. I re-watched the play and the whistle blew just as he launched into the kid. He got pulled and chewed out as it happened at a critical point of the game. There were a lot of late whistles in that game IMO.

Late whistles, no whistles, phantom penalties - welcome to BSC officiating. One of the worse second halves of the year I can remember.
 
In my eyes, the only semi-late hits that are tolerable by an olineman are nailing a player who took a late/cheap shot at the QB. QB in the pocket is too vulnerable to allow it. DOLA can be done/established easily before the whistle.

This team is much more physical than past years and we really dont get called for holding or stupid PFs too often. False starts well thats a different story
