It's no wonder I hate that team and their fans. Granted they were so bad this year that they don't know how to act like they've been there before, but the majority of the team gathering on the Griz logo and stomping on it, dancing on it, and spitting on it was bush league as it gets. Then a guy I actually thought I liked, Newell, is running around with his white board "FTG" sign and flashing it to the Griz crowd and parent section. The Human Q-Tip, Cam Sutton, should actually contribute something to his shit team before doing what he did on the logo.

Choate supposedly talks about the right CAT and the right character. If that was an example of it I can't wait til it all blows up in his face. Only Cats players and fans could be that excited about a 4-win season.

Congrats to them. They were better and they deserved the win. The 4th and 1 pass play was gutsy and a great call. But the disgrace that followed made my blood boil. It led to multiple brawls between Griz and Cat players at midfield. I hope these young Griz players remember that display for a very long time. Karma can be a bitch.

Hate to break it to you, but your boys did the same thing last year in Bozeman. Griz players celebrating midfield on the Cat logo, chants of FTC, everything. I guess turn-about is fair play. Moral of the story -- you don't want the other team celebrating in your own house, them beat them. Applies to both teams.

Nailed it.

Nailed it x 2

Lighten' up, it's just a game. It hurts but we'll give it to 'Em once out of every five years.

So then thanks for giving us 3 of the last 4 in Missoula. Much appreciated [emoji6]

Seriously, I don't like either team acting that way, and it seems both have the last two years. What goes around, comes around. Only the more mature one can stop that merry-go-round.

It's been more than two years. Both teams have been doing it for a while. It used to bug me but as was said....to the winner goes the spoils.

Honestly it drives me nuts that both teams do this shit.

Canada shushing your crowd looks as stupid as Brekke and Herbert doing it. Cycle of fail continues.

Actually I saw the White board that Chad was running around the stadium, and FTG was not writing on it. It was STATE CHAMPS!!! So please if you didn’t see it don’t make up stuff.

One side said FTG and the other said State Champs. Flynn had one too. Nice try though.

JP also had nothing but great things to say about Caleb, Ben Weyer, and Peevy after the game. Seriously HookonGriz, if you want me to start telling stories of what I have seen Griz players and fans do in Bozeman after a victory, I could run a 100 page thread worth of info.

And you want to talk about classless? We get called "Bozeman" State by Griz and Griz alumni because we don't deserve to have "Montana" in our name. A little perspective here would help you out.

Love the title: 'Classless Cats'. They've been bottom dwellers for so long that's to be expected. The cat piss behavior carries beyond social media. I'll hear from my in-laws this holiday season on the 4-7 record, and how good things are up & coming for bobcat country. Let them enjoy their cat chow. I honestly hope they do improve, honestly hope both teams get better, especially Montana after this mediocre season.

I'm Grizzly for life, even if things improve for the bobcats and the coaching culture continues to change here at UM. I do miss the old Montana Grizzlies, but change is hard so I'm going to embrace that change, as long as Montana football continues to show improvements. I'm going to miss all you seniors - watched you play for the past 4 years nearly every home game, good luck to you all: the O-line, Gus, Chalich, Nguyen, Kidder, Johnson, Sanders, etc. (some of you played all 4 years, some not, but whatever - best of luck). Stay positive Griz Nation, don't scoop down into the litter box. It's not worth our time. We are better fans than that.

We will get 'em next year and hit the playoffs running, and if not, Stitt and Company can relocate. Keep improving - the O-line, D-line, the defense, our run game, etc. We lost the line of scrimmage and couldn't convert in the redzone. Those are growing pains, and there's always room to grow.
Let's stay focused and continue to work hard in the offseason. Best Regards.

quoted for the truth.

Everyone has their share of bad fans.

"To the victor goes the spoils..." If you don't want them to celebrate on your field then don't let them win. This will make it even sweeter when we celebrate at the litterbox next year....

Maybe people could take this as lesson and act classier next time we win. This rivalry needs to be less ugly on both sides.

I plan on having hot chocolate and smores at my tailgate next year for Cat/griz. If anyone would like to come by and hold hands around our fire pit and sing kumbaya, just send me a PM and I will make sure to have plenty of all those goodies on hand.

I agree with you Brock.

Or we can do our part by buying a beer for every Griz fan in sight next year. I didn't make it over this year due to low expectations, but I've been treated well in past visits by most of the true fans.

I have no problem with how the players choose to celebrate the win in this rivalry, on either side. Newell's sign did in fact say FTG and it doesn't bother in me the least. The logo stomping thing is blown wayyyyyyyyyy out of proportion, now by fans of both sides of the rivalry the last two years. They are kids. They are excited, and they are told, no expected by their fan bases, to put this rivalry above everything else in their lives, which I don't really agree with either. And then, when they celebrate it, they are admonished for it. I didn't see the fight after the game, but was told it really wasn't a fight and was absolutely no big deal. I did see a lot of Griz and Cat players talking to each other, hugging each other and showing plenty of respect towards each other after the game was over, just like they always do.

Lots of respect shown, senior to senior

It was so cool when Sam Gratton had FTC on his arms that one year!

And he got BLASTED for it on BN. That thread in the college forum last for weeks after the game. So, how is what's happening here any different?

Yeah they were exactly the same thing - BS. I saw the sign. It was tiny and FTG was on the back on what he was showing the crowd.

Keep whining. It suits you.

No, Im not whining. In fact, I said this above: I have no problem with how the players choose to celebrate the win in this rivalry, on either side. Newell's sign did in fact say FTG and it doesn't bother in me the least. The logo stomping thing is blown wayyyyyyyyyy out of proportion, now by fans of both sides of the rivalry the last two years. Maybe try reading the entire thread. What I am saying though is, how Griz fans are behaving now, the ones who are offended, is no different than how Cats fans on BN behave when the Griz do these things in Bozeman.
