Classless Cats getting National Attention

I agree that the interaction is a very bad look I don’t think I would call Vigen classless.

Watching the video several times to me it looks like Davis and #3 were having a cordial exchange it looks like Davis and #4 did not and that is when Vigen became involved.

I have had the opportunity to visit with Vigen a couple times and I was impressed.

He is not on Bobby’s level, but seems like a good guy.

As Griz fans we know that Bobby can be curt with the media, in one on one situations he is a great guy.
#4 and Julius Davis were saying congrats and see ya to each other. Julius Davis is from Menominee Falls, WI which is 90 miles from the Twin Cities and Yale has a couple of players from Wisconsin and Twin Cities and he likely wanted to go talk to them.

I would say Vigen has lost control of the locker room and the players are running the show.

Idk man. I saw dudes throwing middle fingers at each other. Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean anything if they are friends

From a cat fan posting on the espn Facebook post:
Catching up and exchanging pleasantries with former Wisconsin teammate Yale #3, Yale #4 interjects and Davis reacts. MSU teammates and coach missing a lot of context and Yale #4 either missinterpreted interaction between MSU #32 and Yale #3 and/or was just butthurt to end his college career in a competitive loss.

From Yale roster, one of their no. 3's:

Notes: Transfer from Wisconsin

2024:
  • Appeared against Cornell on Sept. 28
2023: Saw action in three games and was 4-of-9 for 34 yards... Threw his first touchdown pass vs. Holy Cross.

2022: Provided quarterback depth in his first season at Wisconsin.

At Avon Old Farms: Earned league offensive MVP honors after completing 169 of 253 pass attempts (66.8%) for 2,730 yards and 34 touchdowns as a senior.

I've watched it ten times and they were saying Hi and See ya. And Vigen started pulling Julius away from #3 before they had finished their conversation and before him and #4 started to say Hi and See Ya. Vigen started this by pulling Julius away from the Yale players and his brother from another team.

Thiiiiiiiisss! And KAY. 45 minutes after our win, KAY was still on the field playing catch with young kids. What a massive difference in the character of the players in the two in state programs.
Really man. Eli and Ah Yat are great guys but Vigen just misinterpreted Julius as there was some smack talk going on all game and thought Julius was getting into it. The Julius overrated but there is no need to start shitting on him.

Oh, there's plenty of shitting going on. On a national level. And rightfully so.

And the fact that you're trying to justify ANY of it really highlights the differences in the programs.

God, I'm so blessed to be a GRIZ. Our guys are playing catch with kids. Your guys are pushing and cussing out coaches and teammates.

Vigen doesn't know what it's like to have a friend and want to talk him after the game. What a personality that guy has!
