I almost thought the same thing about them missing both obvious personal fouls (facemasks) on Ostmo but in watching the replay of the UI game, I believe the late flag thrown on the ground well after the play was over, and shortly after they got the teams separated, was for the facemask penalty they failed to acknowledge at the moment of the foul. The confusing part, however, is that the white hat announced that both penalties were "after the play was over". I believe that was just a slip up in communication as his delivery was shaky the entire way through that process and he was struggling to process in all the chaos. Additionally, I didn't see one Vandal earn a personal foul after the play and the timing of that oddly late flag was in the spot of the facemask and not in the melee. This is just me REALLY trying to believe they didn't miss another one on our boy, Ostmo.
