the CBA draft.

Going to be cool to see Mike continue his playing. :thumb:

Good for him. I think Mike will surprise some people at that level if he gets himself into great shape and stays on task. He has already surpassed what some of his critics said he would do.

I hope this isn't taken as a cynical comment, but with the woeful attendance at the Great Falls games in past years, this is a god-send for them, and a brilliant choice. Not only will all Montana basketball fans be intrigued to see the local boy play local pro ball, but I imagine the turnout from the reservations will be outstanding (as their love of basketball and willingness to travel to support native players is legendary).

He could well be a savior in more ways than one for the franchise.

That is an astute observation. One more thing that not everyone knows. Mike graduated, which to me, is the most outstanding achievement of this young man's life to date. He could always play ball, but how many people said he would never get a diploma? Good on ya Mike! :thumb:

I competely agree ... this accomplishment cannot be stressed or repeated enough. Not because anybody should be at all surprised that he was able to do it, but rather because he did do it, and that's exactly the kind of role model behavior that I hope all kids look up to.

This is great for everyone. If I were in Missoula still, I would love to travel to Great Falls and watch Mike play. I will be pulling for him. Good luck Mike.

Wasn't he a double major as well? No way in hell I could do that on top of the time it takes to be an athlete.
