Chattanooga at Furman Game Thread

Furman was marching right down the field until they threw that interception. The quarterback for Chattanooga looks good.

Furman may be down but they look like better team to me

Agreed. I am pulling for them. I know a guy who was a receiver for Furman and then the Seattle Seahawks. We are going to be at a meeting together in a couple of days. I’m going to try to talk him into coming to our game next week, assuming we both win. I think that would be great fun.

Should Chattanooga manage a win, please recall we owe them an ass-kicking for the condition of the field in an early 2000s national championship game. Never mind nearly none of the current team was either born or in grade school. I don't care. Someone still needs to pay...

Yep. Our game against Georgia Southern. It was pretty pathetic.

Honestly though, that shitshow was on the ncaa. They mandated that Nooga replace their field before the title game. As one could have easily surmised, it had no time to take root, and they ended up with that embarrassment on national TV. Of course, embarrassments are not thing new to the ncaa.

All true, but come on EV, work with me here. How will they give the NCAA an ass-kicking? And as we are all aware it's the ass-kicking that everyone is looking forward to.

Incidentally, if you’ve never been to Greenville, SC put it on your bucket list. Super cool town with a great downtown area
