Is it just me..... I am sure it's not, but how many people think a game with either the mighty Fordham Rams or the unbeatable Coastal Carolina Chanticleers would end in an overwhelming, humiliating, demoralizing defeat for the undermanned Griz. I looked at the conferences those teams play in and there is a reason they are undefeated. Give me a break, just because a team is undefeated..... wait a second, Fordham beat Yale 52-31 and didn't Yale beat Cal Poly 24-10? And didn't it take us overtime to beat Cal Poly? Anyway, I would still like my chances with the Griz kicking some Ram and Chanticleers butt. That is if a Chanticleer has a butt, just so you know, a Chanticleers is a rooster appearing in fables about Reynard The Fox. Don't mess with a fabled, rooster, chicken...... thingy. :?

I think that both Coastal Carolina and Fordham are a little overrated, but you have to give them kudos for taking care of business on the field. The Big South (Coastal) and the Patriot (Fordham) don't have the power stature of the CAA, The Big Sky, the MVC, the Southland or the Southern conferences, but both teams are taking care of business and likely headed for decent playoff seeds. The Chanticleers got their first playoff win last year (24- 14 over Bethune Cookman) but then got pasted pretty hard in the second round by Old Dominion. And I think the last decent playoff run for a Patriot team was 10 or so years ago by Colgate; Colgate got to the chipper, but got shut out and rocked pretty hard, something like 40 - 0.

So to answer your question, I think the Griz would beat either team, as would MSU or Eastern Washington. But they play the games for a reason and virtually anything can happen in 60 minutes on the field.
