Change

Definitely an improved football team but I agree that tackling seems to an issue. Also if you blitz you better get there-backs out of the backfield and quarterback running free all night long.
Nice win and things to work on is a good day. Now getting a win against und at homecoming and a must needed rest before going to Ogden.

Go Griz!

Better defense than last week! Nice to see the 10 points given up in the 2nd half. Let's just see improvement going forward. If that happens-along with this high powered offense-we could see 9-2 or 8-3.

Lolololol what is a QB draw and how do you defend it?
You have a middle LB who will not allow it. Strahm is overrated, slow in coverage and pursuit and they ran through many of his arm tackles tonight. He got a lot of assists because they go right after him on the ground and in the air.

Bingo. Probably a half dozen attempts at arm tackling, all failures. And he wasn't the only one.

Great win, thou. ISU got a 75 yard TD and we fumbled it away around our own 10. Take away those TD's and yesterday's win looks better.

But I'll a win no matter how pretty or ugly.

Strahm let a couple get away from him I agree...one that should have been a big loss and ended up being a big gain for ISU. However....saying it’s all on the MLB is a cop-out in my opinion.

We have been getting torched by QB runs (both designed and broken plays) for a while now. Especially since Semore took over. From a 1000 foot view, it just looks like we are going all out on getting to the QB...and forget every bit about keeping the ball-carrier in front of us. It’s gotta be fixed from a schematic point.

I hate it. Four things happen. All bad,,,They either score or leave the Griz in horrible field position. 80 to 85 yard drives???? Additionally, they control the clock and wear out our big Defensive line and backers. The great wide open Stitt offense cannot score without the ball. Not to say, we have no pressure on their QB, thus making our secondary position coaches and our safeties and corners look like idiots thereby becoming scapegoats on this forum. As a very old Griz player and former coach, everyone knows that at my age ,i become an expert in everything. Just ask my wife. By the way B Wahlberg.. I am a Texas Realtor,, #64

We had six sacks and two forced fumbles on Saturday. I'd say that's "pressure".
